I beat it solo 4 times without an attack boost on the spot (like you had). Used lv 40 regular dynamax Charizard and lv 40 Metagross up front to deal damage and take damage. Then I swapped to my lv 40 GMax Charizard whenever dynamaxed to do the most damage. My G-Max Charizard had it's attacked maxed out. I still barely beat it but I think G-Max Charizard is the best way to beat it because it does the most damage in dynamax form
Here's how I do it actual solo without Pokemon in power spots: Attacker: Hundo Metagross lv 32 - lv 3 max attack, lv 2 max guard Charizard lv 33 - lv 3 max attack, lv 2 max guard Machamp lv 30, lv 3 max attack, no max guard Tank/max meter filler: Metagross lv 32 84% Excadrill lv 35 Cinderace lv 27 Machamp lv 30 I had multiple line-ups because I leave some of them in power spots after the battle to earn candy. Most of the time I use the two metagross and change the tank depending on what i have available/which of them I need to earn candy with (i.e. Charizard because I got a shinymax I need to power up). The key here is to be able to dodge. I have watched a defensive guide somewhere in here (YT). In that video the uploader is fighting falinks but I was able to do the same strategy with cryogonal. Look it up, very helpful.
For someone like me who didn't have an enormous amount of candies, being defensive is very, very useful. Once the warning comes up, I move my Pokemon once to dodge. Also DODGING decreases the damage taken by your pokemon SIGNIFICSNTLY, but not completely avoid it. DODGE at all costs, especially if you have a low-level pokemon like mine. I have excadrill by default because of the fast dps, maxing sooner than with other tanks IF YOU HAPPEN TO ENCOUNTER CRYOGONAL WITH SUPER EFFECTIVE MOVES AGAINST YOUR LINEUP, YOU'RE FREE TO GIVE UP AND RETRY. IT WILL NOT COST YOU MAX PARTICLES. Moves change everytime you reset your battle
@@richmondlegaspi68this is a very detailed comment with lots of great information! thank you for sharing this! And yes, that last thing is really important. Unlike raids, which use your pass as soon as the battle starts, max battles only use your max particles when you win, so you are able to try again without risking losing your resources!
¡Gran video!, hoy intenté bajarlo yo solo y sólo llegue a un poco más allá de la mitad de la vida 🙃 al parecer en estas raids dynamax sí se necesitan estrategias
Go for it! Meteor Mash is definitely worth an elite charged TM! And make sure to power up “Max Steelspike” on your Metagross. This will allow its max move to do more damage.
I solo this with no assistance in the power stop. I had a lvl 36 Excadrill Steel moveset with Max Guard 2. I only used him just guard on Dynamax and it's a super easy fight.
Not exactly Solo when you have two other trainers' Pokémon boosting everything you do.

this helped me out a lot thank you !
I thought you would be able to dodge when those three lines appear above the Pokemon?
thanks for the meteor mash tip, forgot to change to metal move.
Any time! I’m glad you found the video useful!

I have had a lot of trouble soloing it. I think it may be because I don't have meteor mash. I will try today since I have an elite charge move.
