  • In this lesson, we go through a great example of calculating NPV with constant cash flows. We also explain what the Net Present Value is, why it is calculated, and how to explain/interpret the answer. In this example, we use the present value interest factor of an ordinary annuity (PVIFA) table to discount the constant / even cash flows.     What if the cashflow for year 1 and year 4 are different while year 2 and 3 have the same cashflows?
