What an incredible journey, and learning moment, throughout this ENTIRE training block for the Naples 1/2 marathon, not just the race. Finishing chip time of 1:05:43, watch out, I may have just caught the run-fast-on-the-roads-bug! Was so so fun to pack up with 5 other guys and cruise along and enter the pain cave at 5 flat pace. Let's just say, the bread was buttered, and I'm hungry for more!
Am I the only one who got emotional watching today’s vlog? 🥺🥰 Bravo Seth, such a great job! Congratulations to everyone! And thanks to the DGR family out there in Florida
QD: ran the Naples Half too! First time despite being a local boy, Seth looked great out there. I ran in a total time of 1:22:10, didn’t want to beat the legs up too much because track is coming soon🤙
In times where it just feels like your running out there alone, was so nice to see that love in the community. Incredible race Seth! Enjoy the ANDYS!!👊🏼
Absolutely beast mode 🐐 all that training..... paid off! Legend 🔥🔥 by the way..... your cameraman needs a new pair of shoes or some reward for that incredible filming 👏 🎉
Congratulations Seth !! ; i ran in The Resolution 5K in Jacksonville , Fl and I went from 19:50 on my prior 5K three weeks ago to 19:11 on Saturday. I got the first place in my category 50 to 54 💪🏻🇵🇷
Definitely one of the best vlogs. Those guys who filmed are the true champions. It was so nice that the guy even interviewed other runners. QD: I did a 28.5K long run. Partly in snow and partly on frozen Baltic Sea.
I loved seeing the clips of everyone talking shouting out Seth while running it just shows the reach of the channel❤️ :qd: also, haven’t been able to run in a while I’ve been out with covid, excited to get back into it!
The 6:06 (and 6:38) mark was my favorite part of this video. I noticed it right away but thank you Seth for highlighting it! That is what I love about running, it is competitive yes, but it is a community. I have seen so many times during races or even non-races where runners help each other out. That made my heart happy seeing these Elite runners helping each other!
Incredible content. I watched the runaddictTV footage first then watch this. Both all while on the treadmill. You are an inspiration. You’re family is an inspiration. The DGR Global family is an inspiration. Watching you run was amazing. I felt like I was running with you on the treadmill. However, seeing and hearing the other runners in the race show you love took me over!!!!!! So beautiful. I’m also preparing for my first marathon on March 6 in honor of my Dad who passed away last year from complications of COVID. Been filming some of the journey on my channel for anyone who wants to take a look.
This is the best video you've done strictly on the immense contributions from your followers here. That was NOT something people can just roll out of bed and accomplish. Congrats to everyone involved and those who cheered for you and the other competitors. Congrats to Parker who won the race and everyone else in that pack. This was excellent.
Congrats, Seth! I remember my last half marathon in my last marathon cycle. It was an incredible day, probably one of my best efforts. I actually did race this weekend! First one in nearly a year. A low key 50k. Unfortunately, my PF combined with a foot roll earlier this week shut my race down prematurely... Hoping to get through a solid recovery before a little more training and a big 100 miler in February.
QD: Ran Naples in 1:41 yesterday. Pretty happy with my time considering my last two weeks of training weren’t great. Nice seeing you and chatting for a few seconds. Southwest Florida loves running, glad you could spotlight us.
Solid results for a solid effort from some solid training. Obviously a solid performance overall. Can't wait to see what Seth picked up as race experience(s) from this and what he's thinking of doing for his next race.
CONGRATS!!! WTG!!!! was HONORED to race beside and keep an eye on Dewa as she CRUSHED an OA "W" at the Chapman SkiMo Race! 1:38, 784', and she saw 196 bpm! extremely sketchy/steep/technical terrain and i could be more proud of her! She went so fast that she got a 2nd OA! THANK YOU for ALL your inspiration and individualized support of her! can't wait to show her this Vlog! head bowed from Durango,
Congrats Seth! So awesome! QD: I ran a 16km (10 miles) easy run this past Sunday. I'm on week 3 of 12 on my marathon training now and also gonna attempt a PR. It's the first time I'm doing an actual training block (have done over 15 half marathons, and one full marathon).
wow... so much footage of the race. 🥳Thanks DGR for the filming and “ground” support. You guys/gals rock. Seth you are an inspiration for all of us. Keep up the great work. 25k in the snow with some hills. Wrapping up another solid week of running.
Long run yesterday, ran 9.45 miles combined with 256 ft of elevation. Total time of 1:54:44. Congratulations on your race. Great time. Getting ready for a trail half marathon on February 13th.
Fantastic recap of the race. You must feel incredibly blessed to have so many people come out to support you. Well done to all of those who filmed. I especially loved the bloke doing interviews of other runners. That was awesome!
Congratulations and thanks for your inspiration! And thanks to the reviews you did in the Shoedio I went to our local running store and got fitted for a nice new pair of Hoka Clifton 7s and I love them!
QD: Sunday long run 12.33 miles [02:00:06] This run sucked! I did not enjoy being out there today. Got started later than i wanted to. I was over dressed because the wind suddenly stopped and the sun was thriving about 2-3 miles in. Being too far to turn back home to drop off my top layer, i had to make a few attempts to tie it to my hydration pack. After a few adjustments it stayed put. That made for an unpleasant carry of my pack. I almost called it at 5 miles because my planned route was not going to work. I decided to keep on freestyling the route, and it was way hilly. I never got into my groove but still got it done. And i’m better for it. I say a that to say this. Getting motivated to do something is great. Having a plan is even better....but dedication is what ultimately sees you through.
So. Much. Race. FOOTAGE! That was amazing Tyler and Micheal, thank you for going above and beyond! Seth that was an amazing race, you gave it your all and it seemed like it went flawlessly. Congrats on a great race stuffed with PR's......and being sandwiched by Olympic Trials Qualifiers to boot.....
Congrats on an epic race! Truly proud of you. Bread buttered. Also want to thank you for the DGR community. For us to be able to watch the race because of those in the community making that sacrifice is truly special. Special shout-out to Runadic for filming! Congrats again Seth, great way to start 2021!!
First, huge congrats on the PR Seth - incredible time and a superb race! Second, what a brilliant vlog! How cool is it that so many members of the DGR community go to such lengths to film such great footage. Huge kudos to whoever was filming on the bike - amazing effort!
Congratulations, Seth! QD: ran a marathon in Sugar Land Texas and PRd by 15 minutes (new PR of 3:26:31). Best of all, the last two miles were the fastest of the day...by far. My training volume was much higher than past marathons, and it resulted in me never hitting the wall (which I have done in every other marathon). Amazing.
Seth. Congratulations. You are inspirational. I have been away from the channel for awhile (still training hard), and this vlog was a great one to come back to. DGR STRONG!!!!!
QD: Congrats again Seth! This was my first taper week for the Linz 25 Donautrail 100K on Feb 6 which was postponed to March 20. So I did 81K this week with a 17K 600m+ and 19K 600m+ this saturday/sunday. I will reduce to 60K in the next two weeks and then try a 50-60K trail instead of the race. Lots of snow in Austria so very happy with my new Speedgoat 4 GTX and Ultimate Direction FK Gaitors. GREETINGS FROM SALZBURG/AUSTRIA!!!
Had my 1st "longish" run in a while (6+ miles) since taking sometime off to get a a handle on my runner's knee. Things feel pretty good so hoping to get back to training for my next race in May. Congrats Seth on a great race and the PR! It's nice to see the community come out and support you.
Cool race footage! Awesome of the two elites sharing water! Runners are one big family. Buddy my bread! Ran 40km and 20km on Saturday and Sunday, pretty awesome weekend of running in the buildup for the Virtual Napa Valley Marathon!
Seth you are an inspiration to us all! I ran my second marathon ever (USA Fit in Sugar Land, TX) yesterday, too. I set a new PR. My 3:47 was 8 minutes better than my time 3:55 from the 2020 Houston Marathon. I am 50 years old and my goal is to qualify and run Boston. Onward and upward my friend!
I really got emotional during this one - the passion the commitment and the love you show to the sport. The community that has been build and everyone supporting one each other. And then for you to go home to True love... its magic!
QD: Been running for about 18 months and finally made it sub 20 on a 5k yesterday. 19:46. So stoked. 40 years old and fitter than ever. Greetings from Denmark, Seth.
Was very much looking forward to this and it more than delivered. Shout out to the guys who recorded all this race footage. Congrats on the PR and I hope you keep chasing these road goals. It was a super fun/interesting journey to follow. Looking forward to the in-depth recap!
Epic footage! I'm blown away by the support. That's beautiful and completely awe-some Seth!!! What a journey! What else is possible? Grateful for you and your family. Congrats on your race, again. Solid race! Were you the oldest of the 5? I mean, come on! You crushed it!
Outstanding vlog Seth! What a joy to see and feel the emotion of a road race again. It was really cool to see the sharing of the water cup amongst the elite racers. I've never seen that before. It was a great reminder that we are all a community working together towards our goals. DGR💪
Big up Seth, always inspirational to all. At time when so many haven't been able to race for so long with still not a lot of chance for the time being, this was wonderful to see, reminding us that it will happen again. Was off road half training through hills and thick mud for me instead.
QD: It wasn’t this weekend but last Tuesday I ran my first ever 30k on my 30th birthday. Before that I never ran more than 13k so I’m super proud of myself as I have more than doubled my longest distance. Especially since I finished really strong
That race must have felt amazing. Love all the support you got from the local fans. Gave you more wings I'm sure. QD: Getting myself ready to race in 2 weeks time, virtual mode though, 53km on trails is the idea. I did 17km 930m elevation, solid run pushing some uphill sections
What a cool way to include runners on the way! Goosebumps man. This makes me so happy. My wife had our first baby this week, but NOW I'M ITHCING FOR A RUN!
To see this! To see racing just made me cry! I miss racing so freaking much! We are still a least 6 mounts from Racing here in Denmark. So no Racing, but “long” run with the family on the side in our Cargobike. 💪👍 Huge Congratulations on that race!! 🇩🇰👍🇩🇰
:QD: First of all, congrats on the new PR!!! I Absolutely crushed my workout yesterday. 5.75 miles and 1168 elevation feet elevation gain (7.7% elevation grade) at 9:40 per mile in 84 degree weather and 24% humidity. It's hot over here in LA!
My Sunday Run was just a 25kilometers run...not like you... Seth, as i saw in the video, you're not the tallest man of the Half marathon group but for sure you're the tallest for your courage and your humility.... take care of you and continue like this.... thanks for everybody who help you to produce this video Regards from FRANCE
Awesome race Seth! And awesome video footage by Tyler and by Michael from Run Adic. Kudos to them for doing that. It must have seemed strange not to be filming yourself. It's great that it was an epic experience for you and so nice to see a live race again in these times. My long run was Saturday, 18k on roads and trails. The wide trails were mostly snow-packed and icy but the woods trails bare except for one small area with snow and ice. I had slowed to a walk and stepped on a flat rock and my feet went out from under me. I landed mostly on my right butt and left thumb pad, which is still quite bruised and black and blue. No broken bones though I think. Then on Sunday did another 10k recovery run on the roads. But at an intersection I stepped from the road onto the sidewalk for a crosswalk with a car approaching and my left foot caught the curb and sent me sprawling headlong onto the concrete! again! I think my right middle finger is sprained because it is swollen, red and stiff. I guess I need to be more careful out there!
I was excited yesterday to watch today's vlog. This is the first thing I watched today and felt so happy as if I run the race. Great job Seth. Enjoy now.
Congrats for the great race and the PB! QD: After Saturday's long one - 16km in 10cm of snow, I ran another 8.5km in 20cm of fresh snow on Sunday in -11 degrees Celsius temperature. But running in the fresh untouched snow felt amazing. 200-300m uphill each day.
This was great! You people on the front don't run, you fly! Congratulations! QD: I did my 2nd favorite type of run this weekend: city to city run (20 miles). Cheers
:QD: Ran a 10K Sunday, and was able to run all the way through for the first time since my injury in mid December. Felt great, but knowing you were racing in my state motivated me to run. Also want to say, this is by far my favorite video. Excellent job and really captured the passion and competition of the event. I plan on running the Gasparilla half marathon in Tampa in May. Onward and upward!
I love Parker Stinson's form. Some runner's you can't tell how fast they're going when you watch them, but with Parker you can always tell he's hauling butt.
Congrats on the PR Seth. Hard work paid off. Loved the vlog and watching you race. Cannot wait to have races start up again after our lockdown here in Ireland.
Congrats Seth on your first half-marathon after a decate! Great Race! Love the vid as always! I wish I could run as fast as you do one day! Keep it up! You're motivating me a great deal for my first half-marathon in September this year.
Congratulations on your fantastic performance, and I'm so glad you had fun, too! (Not sure if that was a Rosary next to your wallet at 0:57? :) ) QD: While you were buttering your bread running 13.1 in Naples, I was running 13.1 for the very first time, after training for the past few months. You could have run a marathon in the time it took me to do a half, but for my first half ever, at the age of 51, I'm pretty happy! (Mine was just a run, not a race.) Here's to more successes and more buttered bread in the future!
What an incredible journey, and learning moment, throughout this ENTIRE training block for the Naples 1/2 marathon, not just the race. Finishing chip time of 1:05:43, watch out, I may have just caught the run-fast-on-the-roads-bug! Was so so fun to pack up with 5 other guys and cruise along and enter the pain cave at 5 flat pace. butter.
So glad to hear you enjoyed the suffering! You looked strong the whole way 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
The journey 💪
Amazing Seth👏👏👏👏 Showing us that hard work and consistency pays off....onwards and upwards💪
Did so good man! I guessed your time right....but your strava time! Ha.. I’ll take that :) well done again! Awesome
Am I the only one who got emotional watching today’s vlog? 🥺🥰
Bravo Seth, such a great job! Congratulations to everyone! And thanks to the DGR family out there in Florida
Me, too!
It was emotional!!!🙈🙈🙈
Really miss racing! My FL race I'm traveling down for was postponed:(
It was.
I miss racing too, the other night I had a dream that I was on my way to run a race, like the old days...
QD: ran the Naples Half too! First time despite being a local boy, Seth looked great out there. I ran in a total time of 1:22:10, didn’t want to beat the legs up too much because track is coming soon🤙
Well done, Great run, great time!
Ran the Naples Half with you. Had over a one minute PR. Just an incredible race & venue!
Congrats on the PR!
@@davidsaxe7077 Thanks David!
Excellent work Jay, such a fun course
QD: I did a double yesterday! 6.2 miles in the morning and 4.6 in the afternoon. Got my first 40 mile week this week!
First 40 feels so good! That was me a couple months ago! Keep it up!!
Got my first 40 yesterday, too! Keep it up, bud. Onward and upward!
Well Done ! double days are great. I find it helps recovery faster, since if you run twice today you can rest tomorrow if you need it.
In times where it just feels like your running out there alone, was so nice to see that love in the community. Incredible race Seth! Enjoy the ANDYS!!👊🏼
What it's all about!
QD Chevron Houston marathon was virtual & Louisiana marathon was rescheduled soooo I ran my own marathon (not virtual) had a PR by 6 minutes, 3:50:20!
Congrats!
Good job
Awesome!
Well done, Great time !
Great work!!!
I cannot have enough of true love honest excitement for every word Seth says. I wish I had that excitement about life lol
@@SethJamesDeMoor imagine being so loved you have your own emoji 🤣
Life is GOOD!!!! 😄 :TL:

I cant remember how to make my emoji!!
Absolutely beast mode 🐐 all that training..... paid off! Legend 🔥🔥 by the way..... your cameraman needs a new pair of shoes or some reward for that incredible filming 👏 🎉
He just showed up! DGR STRONG! but yes, I agree...
That’s true 👍🏼 Great running from Seth; incredible filming! Loved it! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I loved seeing the clips of everyone talking shouting out Seth while running it just shows the reach of the channel❤️
:qd: also, haven’t been able to run in a while I’ve been out with covid, excited to get back into it!
Shout-out to your mom accompanying you on your trip!!! Congrats on your 70 second PR!

he was amazing!
Agree, professional level of filming, looking forward to the breakdown too
I would be lucky to go that pace for 1km
That's my mile pace
Me too, but best we can do is hope and try ! Good to watch Seth show us how it's done.
Great vlog. Shout out to Tyler and Michael for all of the footage! Thanks guys.

Great job out there, Seth! Inspired me to push my Sunday long run to a new level yesterday, felt great!

My Sunday Run was just a 25kilometers run...not like you...
Seth, as i saw in the video, you're not the tallest man of the Half marathon group but for sure you're the tallest for your courage and your humility.... take care of you and continue like
this....
thanks for everybody who help you to produce this video
Regards from FRANCE
Extremely proud of you! All the work you put in showed yesterday.
So inspiring ! Starting my first marathon training today, and you give me so much motivation !!!! DGR strong !!!
You raced my coach! He was in the black half tights/ blue jersey and the white arm sleeve. He finished 2nd! Good run Seth!
Incredible running Seth. Well deserved after the hard work you have put in. Great footage too. Enjoy the celebrations.
I set training PBs for the 1/2 mile, 1k, mile, 2 mile and 5k on my run Saturday. I felt DGR strong!
It was great to meet you Seth and share a cool down. Big congrats from your Miami DGR fam!
Great job Seth ! Special thanks to the guys who did the video footage. Really enjoyed watching the coverage.
This was great! You people on the front don't run, you fly! Congratulations! QD: I did my 2nd favorite type of run this weekend: city to city run (20 miles). Cheers
Congrats again Seth! Kudos to the filming crew and kudos to you for the editing and amazing music choice, extremely professional!
Ooooooooooo, have I been waiting for this! 😆
This video is what RUclips is all about! Love it Seth, great race and really inspiring to watch!
There's me thinking man Italy looks different to how I expected
Hi from Naples, Italy 🙋🏻♀️
It's funny how many cities there are in the U.S., which are named after cities in Europe.
🥲🤣😂😅
Didn't run Sunday but Monday (today) I ran 6 miles at 7:25 pace and 8x100m strides. Glad to hear you pr'd and had a great time in FL!
I love Parker Stinson's form. Some runner's you can't tell how fast they're going when you watch them, but with Parker you can always tell he's hauling butt.
This must be the best race vlog you have! I mean the drone and bike shots were great!! And congrats on your PR, so strong!!!
Congrats on the PR Seth. Hard work paid off. Loved the vlog and watching you race. Cannot wait to have races start up again after our lockdown here in Ireland.
THE MAN FROM COLORADO!!! Congratulations - and the best is yet to come
Congatulations !! Your PR is OUR PR
Did my sunday long run, maybe not 13.1 miles, but 13.3 kms :)
Great job Seth, and big well done to the guys that showed up to film it, that's awesome!
Congrats Seth on your first half-marathon after a decate! Great Race! Love the vid as always! I wish I could run as fast as you do one day! Keep it up! You're motivating me a great deal for my first half-marathon in September this year.
Good job on the PR Seth! Great to see the DGR Strong family out there!
Had my first Long Run with no rain in a few weeks, it felt great!
Was waiting on the edge of my seat to hear about the race!! Congrats Seth you are such an inspiration!!
💥 smashed it fella. Well done and keep up the good work.
Hope the family enjoys Andy’s
This is so cool seeing you taking time with your followers. Great stuff, Seth!
