kids movies in the 2000's were pretty much guaranteed to have a tie in game for every single console at the time. they pretty much all suck, but that never stopped thq and ubisoft lol
Main thing I loved about this game was that you can throw Elliott anywhere and he’ll always manage to return, no matter what.

Such a throwback! My dad bought me the Xbox version when he came home from work. I literally beat the entire game that night and gave it back to him the next morning saying that I'd beaten it. He didn't believe me, and I showed him my save file. He felt so ripped off lol

And I distinctly remember being a little scared of the segment where you have to escape the shack, remembering it as this long sneaking sequence, even though it's super short in actuality.
I guess your brain tends to be funny at remembering things that scared you poorly.
I think it's called 'trauma black boxing' or something like that, I'm no neurologist or psychologist though so take that with a pinch of salt.
"it was sort of a joke that got out of hand" is how I saw most of the bad movies I've seen, so I know what Ben means.
This unlocked a repressed childhood memory I have of seeing the movie in my soccer teammate's parent's dingy garage and being very afraid of the uncannily awful animation, so thanks!
Polish title is also nice. It's "Sezon na misia" which you can translate to "Bear Season" or literally "Season for bear"

You really need to do a 2nd part because you basically just did the tutorial. This game isn't amazing but it gets waaayyy better than what you've played so far when you get to start scaring off hunters, which you would have gotten to do if you just played for another 5-10 minutes
They only have a limited time for each game they play
I remember watching open season when I was younger it wasn't great. But for some reason it spawned a lot of sequels though. Edit: That teddy bear is terrifying 😱
All I remember about this movie is that Paul Westerberg put together an amazing soundtrack. I still listen to Love You In The Fall a couple times a year
The whole film is Boog dragging around a dead deer. It's called weekend at Eliots: open season part 2.
And it's not a computer animated film, it's live-action, except for Eliot, who is played by a dead homeless guy in a deer costume, because PETA doesn't care about people.

Just a little head-up to Ben & Peter's early comment that Wii's controller should've been called Wiimotes...IIRC, Nintendo originally wanted to call them that, but they couldn't, as another company Fobis technology had already trademarked that name for a completely different, non-videogame related product. it was called the "Wee-mote", and it was a TV remote control designed to be used by children.
So after receiving over a 100 C&D letters from Fobis, Nintendo decided instead to simply change the name to something a bit more generic, instead of paying to license the name from Fobis and/or dealing with any potential court cases both of which would've cost Nintendo a significant amount of money. But in the end, it didn't really matter, because despite the name change, nearly everyone took to calling them Wiimotes any way and the name just stuck.

I must have thought this was good as I ended up completing this on the Xbox 360. Similar in style to Ice Age 2: The Meltdown 2006 Video game and my favorite style of games to play.

I played the PS2 version of this game and the controllers were just as bad as the wee ones it looks like this was a tire some game to get through by the time I got to the end of it I wanted to throw it out the window

Oh boy, Wii nunchucks + Movie tie in + Ubisoft = Very not good. I never even heard of this movie. Garbage times three just equals more garbage.
The Wii had some great games but boy do I _not_ miss those motion controls. It always seemed like games were either really good or really bad; there wasn't much middle ground with the Wii remote.

I could agree this game is a steaming pile of crap why because out of all the movie games and we got In the mid 2000s or the late 2000s This one’s the worst why because first of all this game came out in 2006 not a bad year for gaming we got some really good games like Wii sports and new super Mario Bros But this game is so unoriginal

I own the PS2 version of this game. Played it many times when I was a kid. Had a lot of fun scaring the crap out of hunters in all sorts of different ways. No idea if that version still holds up. I honestly had quite a lot of tie-in games for movies that I had never seen. Might have been a result of my ADHD and wanting to be more involved in my hobbies.
So wait, we’re just gonna coast by the reason Ben watched all 3 of these movies recently for a joke? I’ll never sleep well again wondering why? Why Ben, why? For the love of god tell us!
