I’ve been on five cruises now. Royal and Celebrity. I’ve always wondered about the Ritz Carlton. Their base cabin is the equivalent of a junior ocean suite on a standard higher end cruise ship with appx 3000 people. The Services is exactly the same one and cruise ship. There are people who tend to your room. Some are better than others I imagine, but we’ve never had an issue with anyone. This sounds like great value for money.
I went on a Alaska cruise with NCL in the Haven and it’s very intimate limited amount of suites for that area. Has its own pool and jacuzzi. So you’re never going to be too many people around. Plenty of entertainment if you so desire outside the haven. It was a great experience for the $$$$. Great video by the way was thinking of trying Ritz.
I've stayed at the Ritz Carlton Club on St Thomas a few times. Like you, I prefer land. It's in a great location across from St John. The Club rooms are like condos with 2 or 4 bedrooms, kitchens. Really cheap in off season (summer).
It’s very very much exactly like a cruise ship. Just less activities to do. The cabin was pretty but not higher end than a suite on Royal, Celebrity, or a Carnival Excel class ship. Looks very much like a mini cruise ship so I really like it! Thanks for the tour!
Ritz Carlton is one of my favourites for luxury accommodation, they have a program which allows you to buy anything you like in there hotels (Paintings, Sculptures,Linen , furniture or even the mattress) which is cool, First time seeing there cruise, looks like a much better cruise option as well (Traditional cruises are too chaotic for my liking). Great Video, Happy New Year
I have been on Evrima for 5 nights in Feb 2023. Enjoyed it so much, doing it again for 7 nights in March 2024. 298 guests MAX! No shows, no casino, no all day overhead announcements, no roving photographer, to name a few things. Sit back, relax and enjoy the Ritz Water! The food is fantastic. Service top notch. We stayed in a Signature Suite, plenty of space. Nespresso coffee makers in all suites. They will stock your in room fridge with what ever you’d like. The great thing, it’s all inclusive!
OMG! This is an awesome review! Thanks. I've never wanted to go on a regular cruise because it just doesn't seem like my thing. I need space and more luxury. This seems like I may like it more. I'd consider this, although I'm still not crazy about cruises. Thanks again 🥰

Cinnamon Bay on St John is the most insane beach I've ever seen in person. Can't wait to go back--haven't been to the USVI since 2015... I miss it. Glad to see this as an option; we have never done a cruise due to all of the people.

There’s fun on either but did prefer the smaller more intimate atmosphere. But with the Ritz Carlton it’s certainly a step up in design and would definitely try it out.

If you want to try a slightly bigger boat, Regent Seven Seas is a good line that is similar, but you are on a slightly bigger boat, ~700 passengers. The bigger boat means more entertainment, including a casino, and more restaurant choices. The bigger boat is slightly more stable on the water.
Great review! I agree with just about everything you said from our experience. We had a group of 25 so that made up for the entertainment 🤭 it was a great experience to the point that I don’t think I can do the big cruise ship again.
I went on their maiden voyage. After my cruise was canceled about four times, when we finally sailed, I was unimpressed with the ship. Our ports were great, but I found the boat to be very dull. The food was just OK, and there were so many older adults. I'll take Disney cruising on any day
Our nanny told us stories about Carnival and Royal Caribbean, she loves those boats. People fight and go ahead of everybody, drink too much, and the food is buffet-style mostly. I couldn't change Silversea or The Ritz if I had to take another cruise.
Thanks for this video, was wondering what they offer. You literally saved me some cash, I’d rather charter a small vessel for the family and relax without all the extra people.
