Great review! So many people get the omni lite confused with the omni zone 2 so it's nice to hear someone get it right. I wish they would bring back the OZ2 in the original black/white/orange and white/navy that you have. I owned an original white/black/solar pair and they were they were perfect 25 years later. I wish I could have worn them but they were so pristine I didn't dare.

Great video, gonna have to pass on the upcoming release. I prefer the omni lite over the zone II, I like mids over highs. Your vid really helped me discern between the 2.
I'm the opposite. I love the higher collar on the Zone 2s. Hopefully I can get a pair but I'll be super busy that day.

I wonder if Reebok could redo the Omnizone II in the exact proportions and colorways as the 1991 OGs I think they were slightly off some of the Pumps were duds

Those 2014 "vintage" ones are dope! Do you think the yellowing of the outsole is done to emulate an aged shoe, or did they use to be actually made that way, back in the day?
plutoandlucy Yes, the yellowing on the 2014s is to emulate an old, yellowed pair of sneakers. The actual vintage sneakers from the 80s and 90s were not yellow when they came out of the factory. The midsoles were originally white but yellowed with age.

The colors on the omni lite are chalk/navy/sandtrap and on the vintage omni zone 2s the color are listed as white/navy/orange
Hey dude awesome vid, i got a question for ya, are the omnizone II's fit true to size? i wear a 9.5 in omnilite's and i stumbled a omnizone II on a site size 10 really debating wether to get'em or not.
Many vintage Reebok shoes tend to run 1/2 size small so I would go with the 10. Let me know how they fit.

+Challenger I've never worn mine outside but many of my vintage pumps with hexalite are still wearable. You can see a lot of my other vintage sneakers on Instagram (kevin15776). I just got a pair of vintage Reebok Pump Omni Zone 3s in black/orange.

Has Reebok ever released a bringback of the Omni Zone 2 or have they just kept releasing different Omni Lite colourways since its inception in the mid-2000's?
As far as I know there has never been a retro release of the Omni Zone 2. The "vintage" version of the Omni Lite (featured here) is the closest thing

AQUAPHREESH193 Not to my knowledge. I have never seen a pair and know they were not worn for the slam dunk contest. The closest thing you'll find to it are the two models featured in this video.

Sorry, but I'm not looking to sell them at this time. You might be able to find some on eBay. I saw a pair of vintage Omni Zone 1s for sale the other day.
