Nah then Silverstone came, but Max is still in the championship lead, he surely will get some luck next time right?? Nah then Hungary came, and Max lost the championship lead. The guy went from being in the lead with 30 points or so, to being second behind Lewis in the championship, all because of bad luck. But whatever, Max will surely get some luck next time right? Well 11 races later he finally got that one piece of luck that won him the championship, and to me that was pure sweet karma for all the bad luck he's had throughout the whole season.
And Baku, would've had at least 20 point lead by Abu Dhabi seeing as Lewis would've finished 3rd in Baku with no restart and Lewis probably would have came 2nd at Silverstone since RB was really strong at that point in the year.
When Brundle said “its not over yet” i got some serious chills while watching live😂

This is still the most exhilarating first lap in F1. I remember watching this live and being in absolute awe at how much racing action could be packed into 60 seconds.
The only bad thing about it is that it effectively killed what would have been a great race that day.

Imagine if he had lost this championship because of Hamilton and his lapdog crashing him out in Silverstone and Hungary, would have been the biggest injustice in the history of sports.
Never has a WC title been as deserved as this. Verstappen finished 1st or 2nd in EVERY race in which a Mercedes clown or his tyres didn't crash him out, and all that while sitting in the second fastest car. Honestly one of the best seasons by a single driver ever.

it was clearly max fault. u saw that lewis was turning and left enough room and everything even if it meant max go off the track by an inch or two and u see max drive into him.
This almost cost verstappen the championship, today we saw who was the better driver.

Verstappen can literally take corners faster than hamilton because of his downforce setup. hamilton just understeered and pushed wide because they took the corner at the same speed. take the rose-tinted lenses off and understand lewis makes mistakes.
also, lewis's car ends up on the curb after the turn so lewis would have pushed max wide even if max gave even more space.
rewatch when hamilton tries to pass verstappen and then watch the pass on leclerc. lewis did exactly what your supposed to do in a situation like this when passing Leclerc, he really messed up with verstappen.

Edit: Gonna use this comment to clarify the so-called “racing incident” specifically to those saying Max turned into Lewis - Hamilton never made that corner. He was gaining on Max and pulled alongside him, but going into that corner the Red Bull was ahead and the Mercedes clearly missed the apex and as a result hit the Red Bull. Hamilton should’ve backed off like he did with Leclerc. As Martin would say, “It was a day late, and a dollar short.” Disappointing for Max but I’m sure he will bounce back from this incident and build up a lead again. Let’s get them.

did you see leclerc's overtake on copse in 22? that was beautiful. imo best overtake of the season. old hard tires, broken front wing, and went around lewis who was on newer softs. luckily there was no contact this time

Red Flag was Hamiltons F1 gods talking. The safety car at the last race was the gods for Red Bull what a season. And at 24 Max could possibly break every record if gets a car like Mercedes.
It's possible at 24 he already has 20 wins .
The safety car for Red Bull was a godsend, and if it happened a few laps before, Max would’ve been lucky but deserving, especially because he was unlucky in previous races. But the FIA breaking their own rules to crown a new champion is beyond luck, and is a disgrace on this sport.
You're not saying that Max could do what the goat lewis Hamilton has done, right? All respect to max he's great but he would not make merc what it is now as Lewis did...
Its a longshot yes, but his 24 20 2ins already won a wdc against one of the greats. And you look over the years Max usually gets the better of Hamilton. But he would need a super fast car for a lot of years, his got 15years left of racing.

I’ve heard people say they’re tired of Crofty’s commentating, but coming from an American, Crofty is an amazing commentator! Especially compared to the ones we have here in the States lol. He’s got some real clever one-liners and jokes and adds a lot of excitement to the race. Got a chuckle out of the England beating Italy remark at the end of the race 😂

I was sitting there at copse when the crash happened, most people were just shocked but there were some fans who were just being completely disrespectful and cheering and clapping and it really was sad to see that some people would do that when someone could have been seriously hurt

@@FeelMyBirdie What’s not ok about it? He knew what he was doing, gambled on ham yielding and he lost and ended up in the wall. I’m usually not ok with such moves in isolation but if max chooses to race with that risk(which he always does) then he can’t complain when he’s in the wall occasionally. A collide or concede style will always have a few collides, he’s in control of his car so has the choice to yield

Not enough people saying how badly Hamilton mishandled the corner that caused the crash, and in turn caused the drama to close the season. Then team LH screams foul.
Nah, they know this was Lewis' fault. However, it was inevitable. Max bullied Lewis up until this point in the season with zero push back. He was even trying to do it on the Wellington Straight, 20 seconds before this crash - swerving and banging his wheels into Lewis. Lewis had to leave a wheel up the inside eventually to show that he wasn't going to roll over anymore, it would have just been preferable if it wasn't at 280kph.
Because he did nothing wrong in that corner. You're just blinded by your hate for Englishmen.
