The mayor, council & councillors that voted to stop the Lincoln Christmas festival, used taxpayers money to goto a Christmas festival in Germany the following week,at the town Lincoln is twinned with.
So they also threatened local shops and businesses if they tried to set up stalls they would be fined and done for it.
The covid inquiry is a total waste of money and time. It will never get to the bottom of anything or solve anything.
It’s a case of playing the blame game, but no one will get the blame in the end.
The only inquiry for covid is how did the virus get out of China, why was it being made in the first place and who was responsible for funding it, and how much compensation is china going to pay for it.
Government can learn from the lockdowns, it should learn from what happened and how it happened. An put in place a system in case something happens like that again. So a plan of action is in place for the future.
The biggest mistakes, were from the nhs closing hospitals down, so departments built up major back logs, retirement homes going over the top and stopping access, businesses could have a restricted service. The uk could have still functioned on a limited basis, instead of locking everyone down.
It’s clear that the science was not followed and uneducated mps let power got their heads.
Khan blames every one apart from himself on everything. The reason he win two elections was because the first one the two biggest boroughs couldn’t vote and the sent ballots for each borough to the wrong locations. The second khan broke election rules, by claiming things he never did and postal voting which was not vetted correctly and needs to be stopped asap. As how can you have immigrants and foreigners that don’t speak English or read English voting when someone else is filling out the forms?
These two elections were apparently being investigated, but nothing seems to come of these investigations and are still on going.

State Pension based on contributions is regarded as a benefit and therefore all pensioner bank accounts could be checked by the state. I find this truly horrific and a step too far. State pensions are based on your tax contributions and should not be regarded as a benefit. Will the State start means-testing state pensions? So those who contribute all their working lives may lose their entitlement!!

happened to London, and Thatcher got rid of him by saying no more GLC. Politically your GLC is over, and Londoners were not asked, we were merely told. By putting down the tube fares, loads more money was actually collected, becuase people actually paid. The buses then were really cheap and good. Ken livingston actually understood London.

Sadly anything that is not taught at med school that they've been brainwashed with is off the table. These state sponsored drug dealers are programmed to keep repeat customers coming back for more and more. Most dr's push what brings in the guaranteed income. They, whether they know it or not are puppets for bid pharma. Instead of embracing all forms of treatment that may benefit people, they religiously stick to the path they've been told to/taught. This path ensures continual income. If dr's/pharma were interested in curing people they would eventually make themselves redundant, quadrillions £££ missed out on, wealth transfer negated. The system is designed to keep people sick, it keeps the wheels churning. Any Dr who dares go against the system sees their career progression halted and their opportunities restricted. So in the interest of personal gain many dr's play the game and tow the line.

While I do not pretend to know the cost of installing a system for driverless trains then or now , reason tells me that bearing in mind technology tends to become less expensive over time the avaricious demands of train drivers will reach a point where like a cancer it kills the host . As always happens there comes a moment when it is cheaper to adopt new means of doing things than staying with outmoded methods . It is as though the train drivers wish to hasten the demise of their jobs. Looking at the demands of economics from the birth of the industrial revolution I see no change in the pattern of events.

Khan gets elected because of the simple fact that the Demographic makeup of the electorate has changed out of all recognition! London has become a magnet for a large number of immigrant voters , particularly from a certain ethnicity and religion who regardless of political affiliation will continue giving him their vote because he’s one of them! That’s his core base, and with the fact that their numbers will only increase over time, he believes that he’s on safe ground! A situation that ironically, illustrates perfectly, what will most likely, eventually be the fate of the whole of the UK and other parts of Europe within a few generations time! Unfortunately Pandoras box has irresponsibly been opened, and it’s going to be an extremely difficult task to get the lid back on!

My BIL died in debt, to 2 banks and the DWP, who insisted they had overpaid him. He lived life to the full - a fun loving man to the end. I enjoyed telling the DWP to stuff themselves, as they'd previously given him a really hard time of it. No! he died in debt . You are getting nothing and telling the 2 banks that, made me even happier. They all talked about his "estate". What estate? he had none!!! I remember and loved thier reaction to this, to this day!!!
The fury, the anger, the disbelief, that my BIL, shortly before he died , had totally ripped them off, and he had worked in banking and insurenace!!!!!

Reed says: “Train drivers can expect to begin with an average starting salary of £30,000, with the highest with overtime salaries often exceeding £65,000. “Train driver salaries can also differ between commercial or freight roles and the unsociable hours they work . The average freight train driver salary in the UK is £44,418. I got fed up with the train strikes so bought an EV. Now I drive to central London from Croydon for 50p return plus parking on the street you only pay the first 10 minutes of every four hours or 96p twice. The train ticket is £13.90 and that's if it's running. My EV has 280 miles of real range but a cheap old EV would be enough as the distance from Croydon to Central London is only 12 miles. Being an EV you don't pay any ULEZ or congestion charge either.

At times the panel appear to be waffling and making silly comments e.g. the govt passing a bill to investigate bank accounts re benefit fraud. Mike made a comment ‘they just won’t put their benefits in their back account’ how does he think benefits are paid? People aren’t given a wad of cash! The money has to paid into a bank account!
