1-10 is likely the price. 1 shilling and 10 pence. Pre decimalisation, there were 12 pence in a shilling, and 20 shillings in a pound.
This would have been quite an expensive toy, as a soldier rank of private was paid around 2 shillings and 6 pence per day in 1940...

Morning Nathan and Phil.These "games" that were created and the other items that were created around war time are very interesting. It's different but similar to the similar patriotic items that came out in the U.S. after 9/11 which is my experience. Stay safe, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Maybe you could do a short series on military mess kits.
I know full and well they have been done to death already on RUclips, but you might be able to bring something different to the table.
I'm getting tired of seeing people make nothing but lousy RAMEN NOODLES in them.
