As literally all airplane fans that are detailed in the mechanics of aircraft, this always amazes the casual aircraft fan like me. The science technology is amazing to see in basic explanations (more or less) like this episode.
I very recently came upon watching via RUclips the Q-400 turbo prop planes. The design of the aircraft is beautiful! The turbo prop planes have always been my favorite sound ( outside of the classic DC 3 twin engine models...which I've for decades always love to see in flight) Wish the Q 400 models were more seen in the U.S.

Yep. Its amazing the intricacies of the design. And it is a pity it is dying out in the US. Visit Canada. We have hundreds operating here.

Congrats on the videos, really well done. Strictly speaking the accessory gear box is driven by the high pressure compressor (Nh) and not the high pressure turbine 😊

Perhaps this is semantics. What I meant is that the power to drive the gearbox comes from the turbine, though it does use the compressor to transmit the power from the high pressure shaft to the gearbox.
