Oh gosh Jaclynn you have so many beautiful Hoya and I really love seeing them all. Oh so sad when leaves fall off of them, and I really hate those stupid fungus knats, I also hate those mealy bugs. You are looking so pretty again, I really love watching your videos, thanks so much for this great video, lots of love and hugs to both you and David, bye!! 🥰😍😘💕🤍💚💜💜💜💜💜
Yay! I’m so excited to watch this. I’ve been watching your old hoya videos and searching other hoya videos cause I’ve been obsessed with them lately and gotten a few new ones 😅
I was looking forward to your hoya collection tour (because....hoya) but dreading it at the same time (because I would find something else I'd have to buy). 🐞
Have you ever tried sprinkling diatomaceous earth on top of your potting mix for the mealy bug? Using that & spaying a mix with neem oil in it keeps me pest free. It’s wonderful 🥳🥳 The Sober Plant Guy gives lots of practical tips for hoyas too 👍 🐞🐞🐞
In my experience, I place all my hoyas into relatively large pots 4", 5", etc. I use normal potting soil. I give them very good light. I water possibly once a month or a few months. They grow huge quickly. If Jaclyn does this way, she will need a lot more space for them; but she does not need to check them as often.
You shouldn't pot them into such large pots. Hoya have very delicate and small roots. They don't like to have a lot of room. They can rot over time because they don't want to be wet in the soil for long, and they'll spend more time focusing on growing roots to fill the pot over new leaves. So you should always keep them in as small a pot as possible with well draining soil. Feel free to check out my Hoya care playlist for all of this information more in depth 👍🏻
@@jaclynns.jungle It depends on your cultivation method. Let me be specific. Is your 'hoya latifolia outer variegated' fast growing in small pot? I set it in 6 inch pot outdoors, under my deck, this summer. It grew into a monster. The soil was too wet all the time. Initially I was worried. Try things that you think is not possible, and you can be positively surprised.
I started watching your channel a few weeks ago and I think you and David are adorable. Your advice has been so helpful. I have a question for you. I'm planning to move my hoya Chelsea to a hanging basket in my breakfast nook. The vines are ridiculously long. I would really love for it to bloom, but when is it time to trim them back? I'm afraid the vines will poke someone in the eye! 🤣🐞🐞
I’ve had very good luck with Hoya …. 😅not to brag but basically every one I’ve gotten has started from a small plant and now are pretty big and active growing the only thing they don’t really do for me is flower I live in Wisconsin but they keep putting out leaves…. The only one I’ve had issues with is the Hoya sunrise
Those look like Asian Beetles! Not Lady Bugs!! They apparently eat aphids, but not sure about mealies like ladybugs eat! This time of year is common for asian beetles to make their way inside, but they can be smelly, and also harmful to pets!

They're so underrated!
I've been tossing the hoya that don't make me happy or stress me. It feels amazing! I highly recommend it, just don't overthink it. Let them go.🐞
I think I need to be on your level 😅
@jaclynns.jungle 😂

Yes, but I don't like either product. Alcohol works great you just have to be consistent!
The wayetii is stunning
🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞 Loved Loved Loved the video 💖 I got my Ganung Gading and Hoya Picta after seeing yours 💖
Great choices! Love them both 🥰
That obscura variegated is beautiful.
Weird but I’ve had peduncles break off after blooming. Despite being very careful of them.
Yay! In the jungle today!

I like the original Calistophylla the best
Omg! Every plant nursery has to have a small shark vacuum?
Not sure what you mean ...
@@jaclynns.jungle the little handheld shark vacuum
On the floor by your cabinet, I have that same one and absolutely wouldn’t know what to do without it! I’m so messy when I’m repotting! Lol

Hahaha! I love this 😅🖤
I, all to well, know what mealies look like. 😊
The noid is pretty, no matter what it is.
Aren’t the carnosa hybrids pretty sturdy plants?
I knew the argentea princess would revert Hutu didn’t realize it was a hybrid of the nova ghost.
I’d buy your Rosita!
Nice hoyas❤
Thanks mama!
I like the Wilbur graves, too.
Please do a care video about the Hoya gunung gading, mine is not doing anything 🙈🥲
Literally on my list already 😅
Ladybug infestation here too. Oh well 🧡🌿
I live the Sarawak too. 😊
They're not Ladybugs, they're Asian beetles. I live in Vermont and I also get them in my house every autumn.
Oh I like the tattoo o. Your left wrist. It’s beautiful.
"It's been, one leaf since you looked at me..." 🎶 Anyone? no? Just me...k. 😋

I just love hoya sp Sarawak and dinner plate. But it's very hard to find it here in Malaysia. Tho Sarawak is a region from Malaysia
That's actually really ironic 😅
Lovely Hoya Collection 🤩i just updated my Hoya Collection on my channel. I hope one day i will get up to 100 varieties.

I've seen a bit of both in here tbh. I'm not stressed about it. There's not too many, and they stay in here where there's also quite a bit of spiders.
Lady bugs eat pests off the plants.
Shame on you for showing all these Hoya! lol. I wrote a list of all the plants I wanted and now have a list of probably 20 plants! 🐞
