Hi, I modified this 18V Ni-Cd battery with 10 lithium cells 30A (21V 4,5 Ah) replaced in the box + BMS for a BD mini-saw . The saw worked one hour non stop perfectly on a lot of 6/15cm branches (dry old hard wood) with permanent full power.....Huge difference compared to Ni-Cd ! the chain runs always with max speed. The tool begins its second life.
I have a screwdriver set with over 100 bits it has almost every bit i always use it i suggest that you get one it's not very expensive and it's absolutely worth it
In the video description I added the links to the other two videos in this series Black & Decker 18v battery charger tear down CONTINUED ruclips.net/video/EwOvq6xEMZE/видео.html Black & Decker 18v NiCD battery tear down ruclips.net/video/eGRzEYbYOSw/видео.html
Here is the follow on video (you will usually find this information in my video descriptions) Black & Decker 18v battery charger tear down CONTINUED ruclips.net/video/EwOvq6xEMZE/видео.html HOWEVER, What I didn't find in this video, but did a year or so later, when I decided to take the coil apart, is that there is a thermal fuse under the blue tape on the windings. If I had replaced that, it would have fixed the power unit. 🤔🤔

Like i said, I have more than enough, the problem is finding where I put them 🤣

At about 9:00 minutes into the video, shouldn't you have your voltmeter on DC setting instead of AC?
Watch it again. At 5:59 I show you that it is AC coming from the transformer with the rectifier bridge on that circuit board in the adapter.

I was hoping you would take the battery apart just to see what's in it. 😆🤣😂I guess I should have waited for the end of the video
A repair is possible but I think it would be uneconomical.
My charger wouldn't light so I knew it was the battery. Battery worked on the drill. When it needs charged then I'm going to have a job to sort it
Reading dc on ac range……
I guess you made that comment after watching with the sound off. I clearly explained what I was doing and why.
To check what wrong between power adapter and charging board, take two minutes. And you show for nothing video of 12 minutes. Thank you.
The video show what it says it shows in the title. Maybe the links in the video description will help you?
First one
Well done, have a gold medal 🏅👍😊
