Haha thought I was the only one silly enough to own four of these lol, I sold one I crashed to a wreckers in chch if you're after a tank I know that was mint and so was the front fairing as I pulled it off
4 is just greedy 👍 I'm in uk and this is my dream bike 😢 Rare as fooook over ere unfortunately . You should try converting one of yours to fuel injection and make another an xr69 tribute bike 👍
I can't believe it! That is pretty much what I've been dreaming about doing to my mk1 GSF1200S. Been looking for zxr750 fairing (the vacuum cleaner kawi) to get that endurance racer look. Never thought of an "early GSXR750" seat assembly, but it looks just right. So this bike is ready from the start - with better brakes! Some power above 6500 would be appreciated, but far from necessary. 207kg dry is even less than a naked bandit - and they are pretty light compared to the original UJM's of the early 80s.
Good vid thanks for posting. Great to see your collection. I own one of these bikes, interesting to note only 100 came into nz, being the only other country outside Japan to get them. However I notice one comment said Australia got some. I had to sign some sort of waiver when I bought it, stipulated by Suzuki nz supposedly. To the effect it wasn't their fault if I killed myself. I still have a copy of it. I strongly questioned what and why I was signing anything, as I could have bought a Bandit sitting next to it and not sign anything. They (McIvor and Veitch) couldn't answer me, just that Suzuki nz wanted it. So I signed it but made them remove the silly 180kph limiter. Seems like these bikes could be becoming collectible?
The "Street Fighter" looks the business. It's no wonder you can't find a fuel tank...you've got them all. Nice donks for sure, practically indestructible a bit like the GSX.

I might already have that fuel tank haha
Great bikes, they only sold 100 of these in New Zealand
Great bike....had mine since 2004... Great music too.
Just found your video. I wonder why you have four of these GSX1200 and no Bandit 1200? Why do you prefer these bikes over the Bandit? Cheers
I slightly prefer the styling of the 1200ss. I love a bandit but just haven't had the opportunity come up to get one

@@impalaSS65 they are a very cool and somewhat unknown about motorcycle as they were only sold in Japan and some came to New Zealand, lucky for me.
