    Nishant, I just want to say thank you for putting these videos together. You have a talent for explaining these concepts in simple terms. Please put together a Udemy course where you can elaborate on some of these concepts with examples to provide further context. I would buy any course you put out, and promote it to everyone in the SF community. Cheers from Canada.

      Thank you very much for such a wonderful appreciation 💙 Your motivation and such words keep me doing more.
      I'll try my best to do some more detailed sessions on RUclips itself to keep it free as I want everyone to have easy access to such resources.
      Definitely in future when I have more time to invest I'll work on putting up a Udemy course.
      Please add topics you think I should explain with more details.
      Thank You and Happy Learning 😊

    Very nicely explained...by looking at the views I thought of skipping but...very good and accurate explanation. I started my certification preparation and I am doing UI Settings now. There are so many settings to remember in the syllabus and what is the approach to follow and how to.cover this vast syllabus. Suggestion needed plz.

    • @nishantforce
      @nishantforce  2 года назад +1

      Hi Gayathri! Thank you for trusting and the appreciation 💙
      I have published a blog which will guide you with step by step modules to study and overall my recommendation is to do hands-on and understand the impact of each setting that will help you relate and keep it in memory.
      Also try to focus only on the items outlined in the syllabus and cover those settings and topics in detail.
      Knowledge of other nearby settings is good but Salesforce platform is vast and you might end up studying for another next level certification, thus keep the focus on exam outline.

    Hey
    1:22:56
    Are you sure about that? So you could make a Field required, even if there are already records with the Field which are empty (not have any value in it), but when you do changes on the record and try to save it again, you have to fill out the (new) required field before saving again? Or is this scenario only for new Validation Rule which would have impact to older Records which are not matching the Validation Rule? Can you tell the difference and clear it?
    Thanks!

    • @nishantforce
      @nishantforce  Год назад +1

      Hello Jiwan!
      Let me clarify here, there are two things we are talking about here. The first one is the required checkbox which makes it required at the database level so when a field which had required checkbox true is deleted and then undeleted in that case, the field will not have required checkbox true when the field is undeleted.
      Now you can check that required checkbox to true and that will check for all the existing data must have some value in that field if any one record is found with empty data it will not allow you to set that required checkbox to true.
      Whereas if you are trying to do this with a validation rule the rule checks and evaluate only when the record is modified so some records may exist in the database with empty values which were created when the validation was not in place but as soon as you edit and try to save them again the rule will fire and stop you there.
      I hope this clarifies your doubt.
      Thank You and Happy Learning 🏁

      This clearly states that the exam time is 105 minutes which is 1hr 45min.

    How much time should I dedicate a day to finish the whole course in 3 months?

    • @nishantforce
      @nishantforce  Год назад

      You generally need 200-250 hours of preparation time for the first certification which is admin certification.
      If you dedicate 3 hours a day, you will have 21hrs per week, 84 hrs in a month and by 3 months you have done studies worth 252 hours.
      If you have some hands-on experience already you can even speed up and finish early..

    Hi Nishant, I am basically working as IFS ERP admin with background of Oracle DBA, Azure Admin and Kubernetes Admin. But I am tired of this and want to get into a specialized area. I am getting an opportunity to move as Salesforce Admin. Is it a good idea to join as Salesforce admin? Please share your thoughts. Btw. I have 20 yrs experience in IT mostly in Infra admin areas.

    • @nishantforce
      @nishantforce  2 года назад +1

      Hi Ranjan, Salesforce as a platform and technology is very promising in terms of career for the next 5-10 years and as you know it's no 1 CRM to work on. Definitely the experience you have will add value to your role working on Salesforce and you can progress very quickly from Salesforce Admin to a Consultant or Architect.
      Salesforce Admin is a perfect role to enter into the Salesforce based job market.
