1 year after passing my exam and I still find your videos useful. Quickly helps you bring back the residual knowledge for the tools you really don't use everyday. I now use your videos for quick refreshing. Well done
It's all about building on what you know! I find myself referencing old projects nearly every day to remind myself of how something was built or functioned.
Just passed this exam today, couldn't have done it without your vids!! So helpful and concise overviews of the topic. Would love to see an App Builder equivalent of this series! :)
I have had the worse year of my life. I have been studying salesforce and hope to pass the exam next week. You have really helped me with learning the information. This could change me and my sons life if I pass and get a job doing salesforce.🙏🙏
I just wanted to come back and say THANK YOU!!!!!! This is seriously incredible content, and I just passed my exam thanks to your helpful videos. Of course, I did all the pre-work in Trailhead, but these videos tied everything together clearly and succinctly. A couple questions came up on the exam that I KNOW I only got right because I had just watched your videos!!
Just passed my Admin exam! These videos were so helpful in bringing everything together and clear understanding of all the concepts :) Thank you so much!!
went through all 7 videos of this series. Thank you so much for the clear short explanations. you are amazing at explaining the concepts so clearly. thank you

After working for almost a year in Salesforce in a consultant company comprised of admins. I realized I never really did a basic salescloud setup and touched all the nitty gritty bits. I find it a bit annoying to know all the features reguarding the classic version of SF and how to understand it or that I have to know about it. I've also realized that I already have my own way to make some functionalities and now I have to learn how to do them the normal way, so that's a pain. :)@@salesforcenow
@@salesforcenow I spent 2 weeks studying the Focus on Force question bank and another 10 days on the theory that they had there and then I passed. And I watched your videos one more time on the day of the exam.
Great call out! I've seen different answers here due to the different ways processes run before-save and after-save (developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.apexcode.meta/apexcode/apex_triggers_order_of_execution.htm), but I'll update my resources to follow the Cert Day info. Thanks!
Hi, I saw your whole series which is very helpful thanks for that. I only have confusion to memorise when and where to use Formula, number and Roll-up summary filed?
Hey @Salesforce Now just a heads up: when I run a debug in flow right now, I get a completely different pop-up window in a new tab, and it does not show me the highlighted process flow as it does for you. Just thought I'd bring it to your attention… Is it something that they changed in the last four weeks? Also, thanks for this awesome content - super helpful!!
It's very likely. I know they are updating the UX for flows by having a side-by-side window when clicking into flow elements, but I've yet to experience a different window should the debug path.
Is there any other input you’d recommend for the exam. I took the pre exams until I got 100% I took the paid exam and got 70% and when I took the actual exam I felt I knew nothing and did terrible. Your videos have been very helpful in the walkthrough process. One question is data export wizard a thing? Or is it only data import wizard where you can also export or was that a different tool?
Build. Build. Build. That's the best suggestion I have for anyone studying for the exam. As you go through the practice tests again, after EACH question, go into a developer org and walk through the question/scenario. Make sure you see in the developer org why the correct answer is correct, and why the incorrect answers are incorrect. And the data export wizard is not a thing. Only Data Export.
I am worried about taking the Admin exam and having outdated info regarding automation tools such as workflow and process builder. They are being fazed out, do they still have questions in relation to which process should be chosen over another.
They are being phased out overall, but orgs will still need to maintain existing workflow rules and process builders for the time being. There are still a few questions on their capabilities (aka what actions they can take).
@@salesforcenow Thank you. You should create a video on how to phase out workflows and process builders, that is a topic in high demand. There are so many custom situations so of course you can't solve every scenario, but if you can explain the basics of inputing workflow and process builder into flow that would help both yourself with views as well as most admins looking for extra input over the next few months.
an explanation i got from focusonforce is that "a flow can send an outbound message to an external system declaratively". Isnt this in conflict with the table at 40:27? Can flow send outbound message or not now i'm confused ..
Great question, but unfortunately Salesforce nor I have a good answer for you there. It's a common complaint and request from users. But now that Flow can do it, it doesn't make sense for Salesforce to develop Process Builders any further. I work in 98% Flows - but you need to be familiar with Workflow Rules and Process Builder for the test.

Can you please make an extension for flows because , the exam is more focused on flows
True that most automation is focused on flows, but what did you see about flows on the exam?
Thanks for all your videos, mate. Very informative. May I ask you please, why I do not see the approval process under process automation? Cheers
Glad to hear it! Are you referring to the section in Setup in a Salesforce org?
@@salesforcenow Yes
Would you have a practical example of a resource that would be valuable to add to a flow in real life? For the bounce house company for example 😀
Are you referring to a resource that you can create and use within the flow? Or an example of a flow that the bounce house company might need?
Thanks for your reply :) I’m referring to a resource that you can create in the flow.
