  • It's Kia's first attempt at a large estate, so we've had it on test to see if it can challenge the Ford Mondeo and Skoda Superb.

Just ordered mine. 12 months old, 10k miles, manufacturer approved so full 7 year warranty 12 months RAC cover and up to £500 contribution to first MOT. At over £9k under list price it was a no brainer.

Have you still got it? Is it decent?

@@Dot_Dom I traded it in just over a year ago for a Kia Soul EV, so full electric. The Optima was great but my needs changed and I took the opportunity to go electric. The only thing I had a problem with was the seat comfort, I never really got used to it, 100 miles and l was starting to ache. Whereas I have done 350 miles in a day in comfort with the Soul.

This is another impressive Kia product. Kia has made deep inroads into the executive class of cars that are comparable to the more established German nameplates. No car is completely perfect but the Optima certainly comes near. And this Sports wagon adds a bit more practicality to it's sedan version. Now if Kia would add an all road option, that would be closer to perfection. Muak! ☺

Dao Ming Luo the current Kia range is really impressive. We prefer the Sportswagon to the saloon as it has a slightly more comfortable ride.
