      So damn true, my parents bought a 2023 classic not too long ago brand new and it's been non stop drop offs at the dealership. Shitty seals, rattles, touch screen bricked up, atrocious ac and heating. After seeing all that the most I'd ever spend on a ram is like 15k, need to set aside enough for all the repairs over time 😂

    i work at an auto auction, we get tons of stellantis trucks/jeeps etc and with under 10k miles cant fetch $40k...they suck and everyone knows it..

    The turbo is the single biggest reason for increased unreliability in cars and trucks over the past 20 years. Second is over engineered tech. All cars are crap today.

    I am seeing fucking minivans going for like 60k too! And with a 20k slash to 40k, still doesn't seem worth it.

    After the last 5 years of dealer markups and rip-offs. They can definitely keep their engineered obsolescence. Why would anyone purchase a vehicle where you make an appointment with the service center for a repair, before you take delivery. And this isn't just one manufacturer, it's all of them.

    I Highly recommend for people to stay away from Dodge/Stellantis new TT Hurricane 6CYI engines ,because they are still having major problems and grenading themselves !!!👎👎👎👎

      I’ve researched the i6 and never come across this issue you speak of. I’m curious to know more. Where did you hear about this? How are the engines failing? Is it both I6’s? Is it occurring in both the Wagoneers and 1500’s?

      @@michelle-lz8tg I figured as much. He’s one of those folks that has to disparage something to justify his dislike for it. There’s only two issues with the i6. The thermostat that was resolved before it ever made it to the 1500 and a CEL issue on the S.O. that can be fixed with a couple tanks of premium gas. I’ve spent countless hours on Ram user forums researching before I bought my 25 Laramie. He’s clearly speaking from the great kiester of knowledge.

    Remember, a 50% increase on a $50k vehicle makes it $75k ($50*1.5). A 30% reduction on a $75k vehicle makes it $52.5k ($75*0.7) which puts it about even. For example, a stock has to go up 100% to double but only needs to go down 50% to get cut in half.

      Bring back true lifetime warranty. Then you will either see that your product is good and you don't have to warranty it much or it really sucks and you can't afford to continue to warranty it for life.
      Put the iron in the fire and we will see.

    The last Jeep I bought was a 2007 trail rated Jeep liberty for $22,000. I really loved that Jeep but, it would take a sale price of under $30,000 to get me to buy a new one.

    Discounts won't be enough if it doesn't bring the price down low enough to align with real incomes of people who actually want the vehicles. Automakers can think whatever they want but when they when they can't produce a vehicle cheap enough to appeal to the average person they're not going to sell them.

    If the Mark up is 50% , They could very easily do a 30-35% off MSRP , Then raise Warranties by 20-15% to Balance the books ................... At least You would have a little more confidence that When , NOT if your truck breaks you can take it in to get it fixed at the Manufactures expense ................

    See if you can swing a decent lease on these. If the turbo engine fails, not your problem. Massive depreciation, not your problem.
    In three years, there should be cheaper and better built ones on the lots once the EV’s are flushed out of the pipeline.

    you have to keep it all relative though...i remember when cars started to go above 20K...they sky was supposed to fall then and that was decades ago...now 40k is considered cheap...soon 100k will be the floor...and the sun will still rise and set as usual once peoples incomes catch up.

I have a 2022 RAM unlike the 1980s the panels lineup perfectly and the interior is incredible.

      It's not necessarily that the 6 cylinder has problems, but a lot of people want a V8 in a full sized truck, which they no longer offer.

    I test drove 3 Chevys a 2019 2020 a 2021 the 19 and 2021 were Chevy Malibu's the 19 had 124k miles and the 2021 had 61k miles they ran like crad the suspension on bother were shot and the interiors were so cheap looking the 2020 was and equinox and it ran like crap it needed a new suspension as well .. I wouldn't buy a chey after I test drove those cars

    DODGE IS JUNK. They used to be very good Trucks back when they had 360 magnum and 318 engines. And the manual Transmissions where solid. The hemi is a ticking pile of junk. The commins still is good except the DEF system sucks.. but still the automatic transmissions fail and as much as they cost. Thats unexceptable to pay that much for a 🍋 lemon. Very disappointed in DODGE Mopar
