Love watching the progress on this build! Been wanting cameras outside mine but I’m not a huge fan of having cables everywhere or drilling so solar makes much more sense. Would love the little SoloCam S220 🙏🏼

Great progress Nick! Been watching all your videos as just about to undertake a similar project on a 1960’s chalet bungalow! Big fan of Eufy for cameras as you can use them with HomeKit and your iCloud subscription!
Looking great Nick, the skylights will make the lounge-kitchen area really ping ... Love the Eufy solar camera system, we have 3 Ring spotlight cams which are sadly giving problems with connection to Wifi, (love the idea of the SoloCam S340 or S220) no battery charging, ahh what joy.

Nice to see the progress. Worth thinking about the office desk not being against the wall - I have mine 90deg to the window, with cupboard behind and space in front, much more pleasant way to sit and you can glance out of the window to the side, wouldn’t want to face a wall all day!! Also wondering how well isolated the office will be from the utility if you’re putting the washing machine at the other side of that stud wall…

Been following this channel for a while, house is looking great and recognised lots of you points on my own build. Interested why you didn’t go for built in solar panels on the back of your house, saves roof tile cost and money on powering a big house? on that note I hadn’t realised the eufy kit is now solar powered which is ace solocam s220 looks really neat and discrete - defo my choice..

Have always found your channel so informative and this build is taking the channel to the next level! The cameras would come in handy for me as we had intruders in our garden and trying the doors a few weeks back. Saw them on the doorbell camera so now I have decided I want some CCTV. I was actually looking at this brand as they have great reviews but unfortunately my budget doesn't quite stretch that far so was looking at cheaper cameras but just cannot make my mind up.The S340 would be best so I could Pan and Tilt to cover more ground!
Hi Nick you have, unbeknownst, answered a question I have been thinking about, can I insulate between floors. I want to do that a) to lessen heat loss and b) add extra sound insulation. The latter because I do a lot of sewing = soft furnishings, quilts etc - so want be a good neighbour and limit noise disruption. So thank you for another great idea. 😊😊😊
