    Thanks for the video. I picked up a new Pacifica last month. It is my 5th Pacifica / Caravan since 1987. You showed me several features I didn’t know I have.
    Another nice feature is the roof rack with the cross bars cleverly stowed in the roof rails.

    Another great review. Really enjoyed the lighting detail you gave, showing it at night. And the undercarriage views were very impressive. Also, I see you are a motorcycle rider, me too. Thanks again. SUBSCRIBED.

      Those are some of the outstanding things that I have come to really enjoy. There are more but I just didn’t mention them. The sto and go seats are a game changer for me. I am currently saving video clips of loading and carrying items in the van. I have even loaded buckets of gravel from the local landscaping company and carried them in the van. I will be posting a video on the subject in the future. I sold my truck to get this van and it is working out just great. Yes, I’ve been riding motorcycles for years. Different brands. One day, couple years ago I tipped over,because I lost my balance. Started thinking about a 3 wheeled bike. Choose a Harley Davidson Triglide That decision allowed me to continue enjoying motorcycle riding for, hopefully for a few more years.

    THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO METICULOUSLY EXPLAIN ALL THE SPECIAL FEATURES, SIR. I'm about to purchase one of these...and now I pre-know how to work everything..as I watched 2 other vids you made on your great car. You explain things beautifully. I memorized it. You're just Superb!! Plus I am adding to the AWD LIMITED Edition, the "Fam Cam" to see what's going on in the back without turning around to look. That is a great feature for me. I'm plannng a half cross country trip. And I need the extra room and versatility. No one else has explained all the features this car has...like you have. Thank you, Sir.👏👏👏🤠 Gratitude.❤

      Congratulations on your new purchase. I kind of wish I had the Fam myself. You will love the long distance traveling in that car as it is so quiet and rides on the clouds and drives like a dream. I tried to explain in the video as much as I could. There’s a few things I left out. It was such a long video I had to stop.

    Terrific review. Too bad the only downside to me is the price. Would need AWD and boy do dealers want an Armand a leg for a Pacifica. A top trim Pacifica with and extended warranty would be my lotto/dream car haha. Rented a Town and Country a while back in 2015 and it was incredible. Is the drivers seating still like riding on a sofa? I like how my legs could be at a 90 degree angle.

    • @windsurfed1
      @windsurfed1  8 месяцев назад +1

      I agree with you. The price is outrageously high. I inherited some money from my dad and that’s what helped me to buy it. And yes, the seats are like a sofa very comfortable.

    Are you ever afraid of reaching for the volume knob and accidentally turning the shifting knob? They're right next to each other. I'd be worried that I'd be on the highway going 85mph, a song I didn't like came on the radio, I'd reach to the volume knob, accidentally grab hold of the shifter knob, then drop that thing into reverse. Surely they've got some sort of safety feature in place for that, right?

    • @windsurfed1
      @windsurfed1  9 месяцев назад +1

      I don’t know, I’m like a blind man. I use the knobs, and they feel like braille. One’s bigger than the other, one rotates super easy and doesn’t rotate so easy. Besides that they there is a volume button on the back of the steering wheel to turn volume up and down. They’re probably is a safety mechanism, but I don’t think I’m going to try it while doing 85 miles an hour but, I’m sure nothing would happen. Hopefully!

    Hi. Really enjoyed this and your other long form video on the Pacifica from a few months ago. Have you had a chance to use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto? Just wondering if it’s easy to set up. Also maybe I missed it but does this model have the ability to close the sliding doors from the drivers seat? Thank you.

    • @windsurfed1
      @windsurfed1  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, I have used Apple CarPlay. It automatically connects wirelessly no wire needed. To me it was very easy to set up and I am pretty simple guy. Yes the driver can open up the sliding doors from his position while sitting in the driver seat. There is an overhead console that has two buttons one for the left side, one for the right side.

      Yes, I’ve seen quite a few of the critter. Pacifica turned into a vehicle for wheelchairs. It looks like they have different ramps on them but they all look really nice. I bet they’re expensive though.

    Nice vid! How has the van been, in terms of issues cropping up?

    • @windsurfed1
      @windsurfed1  4 месяца назад +1

      At this point I have 17014 miles on it and absolutely no issues. No concerns either, yet!
      Runs and functions properly. Very smooth. Rides on the clouds, drives like a dream and it's quiet. Lots of room. I did a lot of research and from 2017-2020 many had electrical issues. by 2021 they had most of them ironed out. By 2022 almost all issues gone. So I was hoping the 2023 was solid. So far so good. Now this research was just on the gasoline models and not the hybrid.

      Hope he shows people how to fix the broken bolts

    • @windsurfed1
      @windsurfed1  6 месяцев назад

      What year is your Pacifica? Sometimes bad things happen to automobiles because of no-fault your own. It’s a roll of the dice whether anything bad happens or not. And sometimes we are the recipient of the bad. Doesn’t mean all or bad as you can see were 98,000 Pacifica‘s were sold in 2021. So I guess not everybody is unhappy. Hope you got the issue resolved and you’re back on the road. Probably cost you a small fortune.

    I have the same switch gear on the arm rest in my 2016 Ram pickup. I locked myself out a couple times because the lock button is where you might put your hand while getting out. I just got used to it. Don't need the truck as I'm retiring from lawn care. You have helped me make my choice for my next vehicle. Thanks for the informative videos.
