Love hitting for the cycle! Almost as fun as a mondo! My favorite here on Cape Cod was when I was fly fishing a trout pond on a snowy December morning and a winter hatch happened right around me. I ended up with some sweet rainbows, browns and my PB brook trout! It's a nice satisfying feeling
Love the Ned Rig, makes it easy to catch fish on days when you do not have time to try multiple lures.

I had the fortune of seeing Ned Kehde himself give a talk on the rig. Funny thing is he constantly was pointing out and reiterating that he never dead sticks it. He fishes it like a standard grub. Pop n drop and different swimming patterns. He is a total purist and only likes to fish with a jig and plastic set up.

This lake reminds me of Texoma! Was just there on Monday and water temp was 60 and clarity was about 3 ft. Caught some good large mouth and a 2.5 lb smallie! Love the videos man keep it up!

Nice to see you throwing some fineness baits. In my backyard the inland lakes in south east mi are heavily pressured so fineness fishing is the only way to stay productive. Ned rigs, Neko rig, drop shot, fineness jigs are all money.

Excellent video buddy and again welcome to my area. Just wanted to add a couple tidbits since I fish the living heck out of these lakes. 8 pound fluorocarbon is the key A lot of times because they can see line really well and braid is very hard to catch fish on in a lot of areas out here. Also you may have said it and not even realized it but bald eagles often sit in trees and watch fish that are swimming in Shallow areas around five or six feet deep because they can see them through the Clearwater and wait till they come up to the top so they can swoop down and pick them up. Anytime you see a bald eagle it's definitely a good idea to fish near it.

Lake Ouachita is just like this Justin gin clear water and deep right off the bank, brownies are far & few between, but you'll catch some beautiful walleyes and talk about delicious, our blacks are pretty decent and we're over run with spotted bass, maybe you should consider a second home up here or time shares at Mt Ida are beautiful and your right on the water!

We have some great Mill ponds here southern Arkansas!! A 20 acre and a 40 acre, both have bass and crappie. Average bass is about 3 1/5 to 4 pounds

Have caught spots in chunk rock spawning. Literally beds on the tops of the rocks.
Do you ever throw tubes for small mouth. It's been my go to in Norther Arizona in lake mohave and mead.

Very cool to have you on our lake! I live in Kimberling City and have a house that overlooks the lake so when I am not fishin I am grillin and wishin ha! If you need someone to put you on some giants for free I know the best bass fisherman on the lake. I would show you but I am the crappie expert:) and the local stream and river Bass slayer! So I can get you on some great Ozark Smallie fishing 100 plus fish a day. I have some spots that almost no one knows about we call them fish Heaven. Hope you enjoy your stay! I can tell you to throw a baby carp strike king 3xd in the baby carp and throw rock crawler phantom watermelon both have been been crushing them! 10 ft and less chunk rock and gravel mix is the key right now and lots of fish on woodie laydowns moving all the way back into the coves. Next time you are up look me up and I 'll put you on the hawgs!

we just fished a 2 day on the 7th and 8th, i should have just stayed home 2 1/2 foot waves. waves broke my trolling motor tried to fish with out it and ended up in the trees. tore up my brand new prop trying to get out. tore up or smashed all the rubber bumpers on it. sunday water was good but OMG it was cold. with the peddle just laying on the deck i slipped and fell and landed on my rods. all i could think was HOOKS. but when i got up i saw i broke two rods. and to top it off when i went to load my boat i tried to load it in the back of the truck. and i missed out on the money by less than a pound.GRRR
