I’m retired after a career in my school district communication department. You can certainly make s simple ornament. Just follow Cindy’s Cross Stitch tutorial for finishing ornaments. My 30 year old daughter is obsessed with D&D. Aren’t you cool to stitch your daughter something game related! It’s easy! Glad to meet you! Happy stitching!
3 years 7 months and 29 days to retirement for me....I can't wait to be "bored" ....I am pretty sure I will not be bored! I don't want to rush getting older, but I do look forward to having more time for stitching and other crafts! I love Picture This Plus fabric. I was in a PTP club last year. I loved getting their beautiful fabric in the mail once a month.
I watched both of your videos and they are lovely hubby walked through the room and thought it looked like you had an great looking space. I retired in June and you are correct I can fill my time 😊. You have some great projects going. I did coming to America a d show it framed up in one of my episodes. Look forward to visiting again. Blessings
You are soooo right, I retired Sept 2019 and even with all that has gone on since then, I am NOT bored in the least!!!!! Actually I still feel like I am on a leave of absence and I’m just trying to get everything done before I have to return to work! 😂 🤦🏻♀️ The fabric pieces in your haul a beautiful ❤️
If you put silks on the thread drops, I take the whole skein off and then pull the individual thread out. I like the colors you subbed on The Hound and The Hare. You’re really moving along on the Wedding Sampler! Really pretty!
I retired on March 13, 2020...the day our governor declared a state of emergency due to COVID. Since then I have cross stitched, knitted, crocheted and tatted like it was my J.O.B. I never have an excuse to be bored. While I was still working I collected stash so I would be ready for retirement but I think I’ve bought more stash since I retired than I already had LOL.
Thank you! I tried to find Coming to America pattern, but the site in your link is only selling the kit. Would you please have another recommendation to purchase just the pattern. Thanks so much!
I used "Hoop and Frame" 5/8 inch 10 inch hoops and I wrap them with twill tape (which they also sell) hoopandframe.com/collections/round-wooden-hoops/products/round-wooden-embroidery-hoop-5-8?variant=12581857787961

I am retired and I had more time when I worked. I think I was more organised then but now I enjoy my creative crafty life. There is never enough time.
Oh my goodness, I'm always saying that (about free time). I'm organized, but I always have something to do!
