Absolutly EPIC, thats all i can say, made even better with R2D2 in the backround 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The devil is in the details! 😉 Cheers Mick!
Another class leading video. Scenery to die for and Ians great impression of R2D2. what more could we ask for. Well, as it happens.........
Cheers very much David! What would you ask for?
@AndyManCam I was only teasing as it's been a while since you posted a video.
I Know, i know. I thought maybe you had some extra requests! 😄
Love it, just love it!
Keep the videos coming Andy, this tour is superb!
Thanks very much Adam! Lots more to come, we’re only about half way! 😃
Just damm... I was going to invited you to came to Portugal (north ,central) but what´s the point now... Amazing
Haha! There’s always a point to more riding, WHEREVER it is!! 😚
Been waiting impatiently for this one 👍👍👍
You and me both Colin! It’s been killing me that i just hadn’t got the time together to get the next one out! I never imagined that I’d be going back to Norway before i finished this video series!
Great scenery Andy! 🙂 When and where is the first tour on the Ktm ?
Oddly enough, it’ll be back in Norway again, but a lot less tarmac! Happening soon.
What a cuppa ov tools 🔧 bikes 🏍 I mean 😏
😆
Its good but it is no Buttertubs pass… 🤣🤣🤣
There are certain heights, to which one cannot strive to attain.
I think that's the best motovlog series I've seen to date. Normally I start watching and get bored. But that was magic: the humour, gorgeous scenery and near pro-edit. I was spellbound. Well done. Subscribed!
Blimey I need to go there before I die of jealousy, utterly spectacu....lar🤟😎
Cant recommend it enough mate.
I got lucky; I actually managed to visit Norway in the middle of summer and got a literal week of heat and sun, which is basically not a thing in Norway. Trollstigen was an incredible experience, but not an incredible ride - there were buses and shit all the way up (I rode it in the other direction than you did at first in this video). No doubt the incredible weather contributed, the place was jam packed with buses, cars and motorcycles. Your visit was comparatively empty. With my fear of height and only some pointy rocks between me and death, I was a bit stressed out, ngl. 😂 Still, Norway... quite possibly the best place in the world to ride motorcycles. Just bring rain gear. And don't speed, if you want to not do jail time while broke from fines.
That was lucky! TBH i count our trip as being very lucky too. Into every tour, a little rain must fall! We were also pretty lucky with the traffic too, though dusty weather and early starts really helped!
Fantastic cinematography as usual AMC! The R2D2 aspect adds an extra element too 😂
Thank you most kindly Andy! 🤖
It was dry when TMF rode it. Just sayin....Spectacular scenery, awesome drone footage and production as always.
TMF gets special royalty treatment! 😜 Thanks Paul!
Been following channel on off andy like you got a cb1000r thought it was sold ? Or do u have ktm also? Loving norway 🇳🇴 lovely 😍
The CB is 100% still sold! This trip was a large part of the reason I sold the bike. The KTM will be getting it’s turn at Norway very soon!
AWESOME AMAZING VIDEO INCREDIBLE VIEW FROM THE CAMERA SUPERB
Thanks very much Yiannis!
I keep my comments simple this time: Spectacular!!!!
Totally agree old bean! Cheers!
Looked amazing! Is there going to be a kawasaki review at the end?😉👍
Cheers Garth! Sadly not. There was no time and then he got rid of it shortly after getting home!
You have to ride that road at least twice. At least once for the views and at least once for the ride
Totally agree. Luckily we got 4 goes in! 😜
Ok 👍👌 Andy
Cheers Chema!
You’ve done it again Andy. First rate!
Thank you kindly JAG!
Epic stuff Andy, good to hear C3PO too.
Cheers John!
iam glad that you like Norway.... Maybe you get 2 come 2 lofoten and Nordkapp one time:)
Thats much bettera than a soggy sarny 👍.
Every day of the week!
Hi Andy. I much enjoyed the latest installment in your Norway series. Are you going to comment in depth on the Rukka gear you and Ian are wearing? What range of temperatures did you experience, and how well did the venting cope? Probably, more to from Ian's perspective as he wasn't on a naked bike. I'm heading that way in July, and am stuck at the "What to Wear" stage?!? Trying to weigh up going Kallavesi (Now the Ecuado-R / Explore-R (UK)) or similar laminated jacket, vs a layering system based around a mesh jacket such as the KNOX Seasonless range. I'd be interested on how well that suit worked on the trip as a whole.
Cheers Simon! I guess I ought to really, although as you’ve seen, my suit isn’t even current anymore! 🤦🏻♂️ i can tell you that the suit performed admirably for the whole trip. On the colder days, the Outlast liners are brilliant (and soft compared to the nasty shiny fabric some manufacturers use for their liners) and when it warmed up the vents were fantastic. On the last day, we started in sub 10° with all the liners in and thanks to the Outlast fabric and the vents, didn’t need to remove our thermal liners until the temp was around 25° in Denmark. Easily the most versatile textile suit I’ve ever used.
The knox system is also great. Obviously far cooler when the outer is stripped off. But depending on the rider and the trip, comes with a bit more faff. With the Rukka, zip/unzip the vents and keep going! But if you’re happy to take breaks, have a relaxed daily pace then obviously the Knox stuff will be just fine. Although it’s also important to remember the Goretex. That stuff is simply magic!
@@AndyManCamThank you for your reply. Unfortunately, Rukka has chosen not to supply the Outlast magic liner or any other liner in the replacement to the Kallavesi!
WHAT!? That’s a real shame. It’s SOOO good!! Budget cuts and bean counters will be the end of top products!!
Excellent quality, as per usual. 🥇 Very much missing the AMC theme tune on this series - like Top Gear or MoTD without their theme tunes. Can you get waterfalled out?
Thanks Mr C! I know what you mean about the theme tune. Sadly it seemed to be the cue for people to switch off, because the video was almost over! 🤦🏻♂️. I think maybe you can get waterfalled out, but not in the two weeks that we were there. They just kept on being spectacular. 👀
@@AndyManCam Just at the beginning then! 😁
I suppose so! 😉
whats the best way from UK to norway. boat wise? for biking trip
I’m afraid I don’t really know. Ian came over Harwich to Rotterdam so he had a relaxed overnighter. But as I’m already in northern Germany, it’s not something i had to think about.
ferry to Rotterdam then a small overland ride to either Cuxhaven or Emden depending on the sailing dates and get the ferry to Kristiansand or to Kiel and get the ferry to Oslo
Just got back from Gran canaries, hired a Mt07 for a week, perfect roads and plenty of sun.
I can believe it, i just got back from there myself! 5 days on a Ducati Desert X! 😍
@@AndyManCam
All roads lead to Tejeda for coffee and cake 👌
Multiple times! 😆
Fantasticles 😮😮😮
Thanks very much mate! 🙌🏻
Enjoyed it, great footage
Thanks very much Rick!
Mind the Sheep Bumps!
They’re everywhere!!
Norway seems to have a lot to offer that pass looks spectacular, the more of this place I see the more I want to go there, I believe this is going to be on my bucket list! Excellent video Andy👍
Totally mate. Around every corner it’s something different and equally breathtaking. Definitely put it on the list.
Magnificent! Each of your touring videos is a gem of RUclips.
Wow, thank you kindly! ☺️
brilliant ;)
I don't know why you are impressed with guys riding from Q8, I've ridden from one Shell garage to the next. Aiden
Ho ho ho! Badoom-tish!
Quite a lot of gushing here. Not just the waterfall. Norway’s sheep, however, have seen it all before and beat the glaciers for chill. (TS does get dry by the way - you just need to get lucky 😁) Best drone footage of the TS I’ve seen by miles. 👍
Thanks very much Michael! Yep, those sheep were cooler than a witches tit.
👍 Quality cinematography with outstanding droneage
Thank you kindly TTD and cheers for the cuppa! ☕️
Well that was OK I suppose, if you like that sort of thing! Bit of a Master class there in dronage and threesixtiness. Oh yes, very nice.
Of course. To the right eyes, it could be splendorous. But otherwise, decidedly average.
Wow that takes me back.
I rode the Trollstigen 20 years ago now, Its a spectacular road. Spent 2 weeks in Norway riding around, its a trip that I shall never forget. Camping by the way, none off your soft glamping🤣
I cant imagine it’s changed much?! Maybe a bit more traffic. Yeah, we took the easy option!
Yes, it's rather excellent. I think we're all convinced it's somewhere we need to ride.
Not sure management would do the hut thing.
But yes, it's necessary.
Most excellent.
Safe, happy travels
Cheers TT. Maybe Management needs to be convinced by showing the cost of full on hotels!! 😜
Still prefer the Alps. Especially because of weather. Really nice video!
I can understand that. Norway was definitely worth the weather gamble though!
Nicely done Andy. Can’t wait to see what you get up to on the KTM!
Cheers Murt. Won’t be waiting much longer. The first adventure is on the doorstep!
Could you include the ride date for this? Always useful when trying to plan for weather and crowds etc. Thanks.
Hi Gustav. Gladly! This was the 16th August 2022 👍🏻
Another stunning vid to add to the series, Andy.
What happened to your fly screen?
Thanks! The screen is still there, just a slightly different angle as i was back to helmet mounted camera in this episode.
Spectacular stuff Andy. The best film I've seen riding this pass. 👌
I'm leaving in the morning finally on my trip to North Carolina from New Jersey. Tail of the dragon and more. 12 days won't sleep well tonight.
Awesome stuff James! Sorry i missed you but i hope the trip was all you hoped for and that your neck behaves itself throughout!!
@@AndyManCam I got back yesterday it was an am adventure . The tail of the dragon was very technical abit touristy but agreat road. Skyline drive and the Blue ridge parkway were unbelievable. Down in North Carolina There are so many rides to do. I spent 3 days there best riding I've ever riden. 2,800 miles .Andy I'm 231 miles away from 90 k on my FZ1. Still runs like a beast. And the paint still is perfect. Only 80 miles of rain the biker gods were with me. Twisty great roads mountain roads at 6 thousand feet highest on the east mount Mitchell. You would love it I'm sure. I'm 63 and wasn't even that sore.
Am I the only one who finds it more scary watching than actually doing it myself? Love the jagged "safety" boulders guarding precipitous drops! Great stuff as always Andy, only a month or so before the off for me this year although more in a Grossglocknerish direction 😂. Looking forward to seeing where the KTM takes you...
That feeling of having no control is pretty unsettling! 😂 The KTM will ironically be taking me back to Norway! But with knobblier tyres 😉
Amazing slender of Norway, one day maybe one day I'll make it.
‚One day‘ will be easier, the sooner you do it! It’s only going to get busier and more expensive!
Very bond'ish music ... I likes it I do ... Nice one Andy 👍
I do like to try and keep the drama quota up! 😉
That scenery is straight out of the mind of one JRR Tolkien. Thank you for the effort in footage and editing Andy. Now you have done the best twisties in the world, you probably should try your luck on the straight roads of Australia 🤔
I totally agree Pat! Unreal scenery. I was actually thinking that now I’ve tried the best twisties, I’d go to the same place and avoid the road altogether!
I'm a few days behind in my watching...I actually spent this past week in Hamburg on a little holiday. But my goodness, what an incredible place this Trollstigen is! As you said, it doesn't even seem real almost! Thanks for sharing
Amazing Andy. Just incredible
Cheers Mike. I concur!
Amazing spots to capture with a drone!
Absolutely! Little nervewracking at times though!
Wow… Another beautifully put together video Andy! 😎
Loving this series… Just need to workout how to get myself out there now! 🤔🤣
Loving the series. The drone and cinematography was spectacular like the scenery. Would love to see your take on the Wild Atlantic Way here in Ireland.
Thanks very much! I’d love to find out! Just need the moons to align as it’s a bit of a trek from here! 😅
@@AndyManCam yeah it is alright. And need a lotto win to stay here 😢😢 still loved the series so far. Watched each a couple of times as they are amazing
Another great video, thanks for sharing Andy 👍
Thanks mate! My pleasure!
holy Shit Balls Batman, thats bloody amazing
Couldn’t have said it better myself, boy wonder.
Wowww the epicness of this whole journey is unreal, simply lovely. Looking forward to video from day 7,8,9 and so on
You where playing on my doorstep. Hope you enjoyed it 😊
I did! Utterly stunning doorstep, you lucky sod!! 🥰
@@AndyManCam, if you happen to visit this area more times, now with your new bike, hit me up. I'm happy to show you around to try some great mountainroads that will give you fantastic pictures. If you can stand dogs and cats in the house we have a guest room too.
Two words Andy. Simply Awesome!
Two words back Marcus. Thank. You!
I was wondering when the next one was..😬
If I had my way, there’d be no waiting at all!!
Love to hear the wildlife at night
Not sure if you’d hear anything over those waterfalls!
That is the most beautiful road I've ever seen!!Well done
Another great video and also a great way to start my day. Looking forward to the next one!
Very happy to have helped you get started!
Many thanks for another quality video with amazing droneage.
My pleasure and thanks again TTD!
Andy, what a video, that first drone shot blew me away, loving the Norway trip, I'm new back to bikes two years ago after a 10 year lay off, your videos are the inspiration for me to get out further on the bike and doing more than, a bad impression of Peter Hickman along the local country lanes. Well done, great stuff.
Thanks very much John. Also for the support! I’m humbled to be driving you in however small amounts to get out there! There’s a whole lot of world and bikes are about the coolest way to discover them! Cheers!
