No, lvl30 was purely to prevent new players from entering the ranker ladder. The "smurfs" always smurfed when they wanted to, lvling was never an obstacle.
"teamfights lasted longer" the good old days when no one blasted the enemy in a few seconds so you actually had time to get backup and make some plays. the longest teamfight I've had recently was when I was playing Nautilus and the enemy team couldn't kill me for 45 seconds while my team was busy murdering them. I even had one enemy respawn and attack me again only to die a second time
I don't think that's quite true. I remember building critplank and oneshoting any squishy champions with like 2200dmg per Q. Also got my first penta ever with this build, good times

What I miss about the old League of Legends is the feeling it gave me back in the days. I remember myself getting home in 2011, starting up my shitty Laptop just to play some League with my friends from school. Communicating through Skype just having the time of our lives without a single worry in sight.
Find the Teemo was also nice, you created a custom game(crystal scar)and both teams had a Teemo in their Team, at the beginning both Teemo´s went to a location and right after both Teemo´s wrote "ready" in the chat, the teams were allowed to leave the base to find/kill the enemy Teemo(and Ezreal was mostly "banned" because of his E).
I forget what it was called, but there was a challenge to play a champion you weren't already good and take that champion from 1-30. I chose Urgot before his rework. Also, Urgot pre rework was so much more fun to play. I wish Riot would introduce a game mode where we could play older versions of champions that have been reworked.
Nostalgic, I remember sion fountain diving with 6 bloodthirsters because his ultimate boosted life steal and you could stack effects on top of each other. so it'll be like 500% lifesteal right at the end of the game. Just for the extra f u
i really miss the older gamemodes. less so because of the actual gamemode. but mostly because they took place in other regions of the lore. summoners rift is technically in freljord. but it feels like its own thing. and even then, howling abyss is also freljord, and it feels very much like it should. i miss twisted treeline because it took place on the shadow isles. and even though i didnt play dominion. i like that it takes place in shurima. makes the game feel a bit more, "in universe". and not just, we tooka bunch of people from around the world. and chucked them into a random forest

Fun fact since talking about runes at one point in the video... I at one point had to contact riot about why I couldn't finish my tier 3 rune collection. Apparently there was a cap to how many runes you could own in total and because I owned some of the seasonal Halloween runes, I had met that limit before owning all level 3 runes. They were able to refund me all the worse runes I owned at the time and I was able to finish my rune collection... I know that the rune system sort of gated the game for some people, but I did enjoy the fact that I could make any page I wanted and really could test what were the best pages I could throw together. Then there was owning the amount of rune pages which I was sure to max out... I think this is where "maining" champions really came to the front of the game because you would have to get the right runes sets to use on a character.
Bold of you to assume Azir's turret glitch doesn't still exist. Every now and then when a new character comes out the glitch is back for some time until riot patches it (the most recent having been with Viego, when Viego took over Azir his basic attacks would spawn turrets).
I remember the limit on health position was 9, the limit to 5 potion was added because starting 9 health potions was actually a viable start for some champions.

I don't remember a chat in loading screen, but you definitely had individual progress bars and each players ping on the loading screen for quite a while.
I loved playing on Dominion. It offered a lot more freedom of play from the standard game. Roaming, juking, dueling people bot, constant forced team fights for top center, backdooring, it wasn't restricted to game state or map state like Summoner's Rift.

You missed out already, the current state of the game is shit. League during its golden days was godly, we would play everyday for 10 hours minimum and it was so much fun. We really never got tired playing the game. League RUclips content was so much better too. LoL would live for a 100 years if Riot wasn't full of bronze apes and diversity hires.

So I'm an adc main and back when you used to have to buy runes I would always put one crit chance rune on so if i got lucky in the first fight I would crit them and basically guarantee a kill.

I miss the old runes, the good old mana per level page for ryze and singed, the dodge Runes for jax, the crit per level for trynd and the old fun extra energy for akali shen and kennen... ahh good days and lots of IP
The original client was hundred of times better than the parody we have today. Not only because of how unstable and full of bugs it is (and will forever be, because God knows Riot will never do shit), but also because of the amount of content it had, like the stats, the music... hell, even being able to see how many times you received each type of honor was cool.
The main thing I remember about old League was constantly saying they should add in an option to queue for a specific role, and everybody shouting abuse at me for it because "it would make finding a game take 30 minutes" or "you should gg and play every role"

It just felt so basic and that's what I loved about it.

I wish League added a "classic casual" mode where we had all the old champions, animations, items, the old Summoner's Rift, the old rune system (of course having everything unlocked), and most of all, the old client. That would have been such a cool blast from the past, seeing what League used to be like in its prime. And as a bonus, all champions and items were tuned to be as they were in their historically strongest states. *To make it more fun for the support role, a modern warding item would be available to purchase from the start of the game, with a buffed capacity of 5 wards*
I miss all the custom games, it used to be full of fun modes and the community was great. After Season 1 ended I basically spent 2 full seaons playing: ARAM, ABAM, ABAB on Summon Rift, but mostly on Crystal Scar. It used to be way much more fun and balanced than the shitty ARAM mode we later got - "random" my ass.
I MISS OLD OLD SORAKA, When she could give HERSELF mana. Best memory of that was when I went a whole game without backing/dying as Soraka and ending the game with just a Dorans Ring.. Fun Times

What I most miss with old league is the fun time i had that i can't get today. Idk it was just a different game back then so much less toxic if u compare it to today. Don't get me wrong i still love the game today but old league was just something else. Its my just nostaliga when i came home from school to play with my friends and didn't care about how the games went. But if i had to pick something i sould say my ap master yi, I was the biggest ap yi main. Pls rito give me my ap yi back and my soul :)

I miss all the custom games, it used to be full of fun modes and the community was great.
After Season 1 ended I basically spent 2 full seaons playing: ARAM, ABAM, ABAB on Summon Rift, but mostly on Crystal Scar. It used to be way much more fun and balanced than the shitty ARAM mode we later got - "random" my ass.
I MISS OLD OLD SORAKA, When she could give HERSELF mana. Best memory of that was when I went a whole game without backing/dying as Soraka and ending the game with just a Dorans Ring.. Fun Times

tbh I think the darius glitch was the funniest when I first saw it. where you could pull the entire enemy team into your fountain before the minions even spawned
What I most miss with old league is the fun time i had that i can't get today. Idk it was just a different game back then so much less toxic if u compare it to today. Don't get me wrong i still love the game today but old league was just something else. Its my just nostaliga when i came home from school to play with my friends and didn't care about how the games went. But if i had to pick something i sould say my ap master yi, I was the biggest ap yi main. Pls rito give me my ap yi back and my soul :)
Hey man, Yi got an on-hit buff today. Q still doesn't have an AP ratio but it will proc Lichbane (probably) and Nashor's, so you could try it again! Won't be fantastic but I don't think it'll be as useless as before
