@@HornTrader I really think the name 'trompeta di tutti trompeta' nailed it for 1s/2. But for me I just feel more natural with #7. I'm trying different combinations though - darn they're all so nice! Just can't get enough of Calicchios 🤣 I love 'em!
Beautiful horn. Me gusta tambien. Thanks for sharing those memories…just watched the mini-doc "The Last Trumpet Maker"-wow! Dominick put the old school in old school. Can you tell me the title/artists of that wonderful mambo at the conclusion of your video?
No matter what horn you play , you sound amazing. I don’t think the make of trumpet means a big deal. At the end of the day I got the feeling it is the player not the horn that is the deciding factor as to if you sound any good. Give me the best trumpet in the world and I would still sound awful
WOW! I remember going to Dominic shop in the 70s and 80s. He was a great trumpet maker!
Great memories!
Patches Stewart
you sound great on all these horns. Love it!
To me this is the best example of how the 1s/2 really sounds. Keep coming back to it... Even though I have one myself!
They are great horns! I don’t know if I like the #2 or #7 pipe..........
Thanks for checking in. Stay tuned to the HornTrader!
