Honestly, no I don’t recommend it. Sadly there is a lot of homelessness and mental health in SF which doesn’t really impact you in the day, but I felt to walk around late at night wouldn’t be wise. That being said, I noticed a lot of things closed around 8/9pm so there wasn’t much going on after that!
@@ManpsOnTheMap thanks a lot for the quick reply. Yeah, I heard a lot of horror stories about Tenderloin, Civic Center and South-East of the Market Street. Did you feel safe and comfortable during the day in the off-center areas like Port, Alamo Square, Golden Gate Bridge? I'm thinking if it's safe to visit SF when only walking around during the day and not visiting those bad hoods in the center.
@@Jeff.Wilson no problem. So we avoided tenderloin completely after I had read about it. In the day we felt safe and comfortable exploring the places in my video. We even got around by bus which was fine. I think as long as you’re streetwise and stick to tourist areas you’ll be fine
