- Quick note before the description; Near the end of this reconstruction I state that following the 1003 crash of UA93, the TSD track continued all the way to DC, causing the evacuation of several areas. My friend, Jason Dahl, was the Captain on this flight. I went to his funeral and I can assure you that this was no hoax. Jason Dahl was just a very good and above average pilot. He taught me a lot about the B-757 & 767. His wife, Sandy, died just a few years later. They say it was from alcohol and painkillers. I say it was from heartbreak. I have also been to Shanksville, PA to view the monument. I went there shortly after the plane crashed there, but was not allowed back to the site. You had to see it live on TV. What more proof do you need?
I also flew this route many times. I was lucky; it was my day off.

Days after they crash, the hole has no more dead bodies and aircraft’s pieces. They put soil in the hole and it started growing grass and they put the rock on the site and they built a memorial.

Thanks for creating this, even if it's difficult to watch. United 93 is personal for me because I was supposed to fly from EWR to SFO on 9/12/01. I remember going back and forth on whether I should fly on Tuesday or Wednesday and ultimately decided on the latter. It was a few weeks after 9/11 when I looked at my reservation and noticed that I was booked for United 93 on 9/12. My heart is always with those folks who perished on that horrible day.

The hijacker making the transmission sounded like he was out of breath. Looks like the pilots gave them the fight of their lives, to no avail sadly.
Josh Gitt the pilot was also scared and didn't want to do it but he did it anyways. But yeah, they were really brave. More casualties could have happened if they didn't stop it.
Transcripts reveal that one of the pilots messed up the auto-pilot system to prevent them from easily aiming the plane at Washington D.C., and even continued to fight for the controls despite being stabbed. The acts of heroism on Flight 93, from both the crew and the passengers is truly phenomenal.

No, not necessarily, no offense to the pilots but they had to do a lot of running and yelling. If the pilot could barely speak then it would seem as though the pilots had put up a really good fight. Keep in mind they had to yell and force people to the back of the aircraft, and they spent a few minutes yelling "GOD IS GREAT!" over and over again.

I visited the United 93 Memorial just yesterday. Truly a sobering experience to read the names, see the faces on the walls of the memorial. God bless those Americans on board who lost their lives to "pure evil"! If you haven't visited the United 93 Park, please do so, as it is well worth your time.

That 30 minute delay probably saved another building being hit.
The flight was delayed 30 minutes, all the hijackings were meant to be at the same time, because this flight was delayed all the other planes had met their fait, the passengers found out about the other planes & did what they could to save themselves before it his another building, sadly they still lost their lives

I was 13 and woke up to get ready for school on the West Coast, the news was on, and the first tower was hit. My mother and grandfather and myself, watched as this happened live on tv in disbelief. We watched people jumping as the heat overwhelmed them, the second tower was struck, and we watched as the towers fell. My family is a proud fire fighter family, we knew instantly how bad this was. I can never forget these events and I will never forget who the enemy is.
Amazing how professionally composed the Air Traffic Controller remains during this awful event.

Again, there was never a warning given before the plane took off. The link you gave for that claim doesn't contain anything about warnings given before takeoff. It's a really simple timeline, and it's given in this video and every link you've posted - you're being intentionally dishonest about when a warning was given to flight 93.

Flight 93 was doomed the minute it took off..no matter what they were either going to crash or be shot down by military jets...the 2 pilots of the fighter jets confirmed that any of the planes they made contact with that day would have been taken out after a chance of contact was ignored...its what they have to do passengers and all...the loss of life would be much smaller than letting hijack plane continue on its mission...I understand why but its a chilling scenario...

Okay I've come across a problem. The video timing on RUclips slows down compared to the original, so although the subtitles begin alright, by about 20 min, there is a 5 second difference, by about half way through, there is a 20 second difference. It's a pain staking task, I have to go through time stamp but time stamp and re-write it, but I'll try to get it done within the week.

It didn't dawn on me until I saw the Twin Towers in the background just how close UA93 was in proximity to AA11 at that time during takeoff when comparing those two planes relative locations from your videos. Chilling.

I hope technology is developed so that if a pilot is attacked or if the pilot shows signs hostile behavior the plane automatically goes into ‘lockdown’ mode and passes the controls to a pilot on land and does an emergency landing. The plane can not be controlled by anyone on board. We need something like this.

At 38:34 UAL93 checks into ZOB (Cleveland Center), however, being a controller at ZOB, we are missing the entire conversation on 133.07 ( FKL - Franklin Sector). When UAL checks in, the recording picks up on 133.37 (LOR- Lorain Sector) which would be the next sector after FKL on J60. Some of these sectors and frequencies have changed since 2006 but we missed about 180 flying miles between New York Center and when UAL93 calls Cleveland Center.
On 9 11 2001 I was watching the towers being hit on the news and shortly after that a 757 came over our house at no more than 300 to 400 ft. in altitude flying at over 500 mph. I heard it coming from a south to north heading and went over to a window and watched it come over the trees right over my bedroom , all I could do is hit the floor and ask Jesus to help them. They were under the radar and we live in Albion,Pa. about 15 miles south of Lake Erie and 90 miles East of Cleveland,Oh. I heard the plane bank hard after its passing over and roar off in an unknown direction, I could not see it from our bedroom. Other people in our town also spoke of a twin engine passenger jet flying fast, low and erratic. I cant imagine what the passengers in that aircraft experienced to be nothing but that of horror.

I can't say for sure ,but a passenger jet that low and fast with pulling g's and hard banking turns ! If there was any other aircraft flying like that period on any day there would have been a $#*" Storm from the passengers if not heart attacks from the terror . It was low and it made me hit the floor . I have watched many aircraft military,civilian air shows and this wasn't anything I have ever witnessed from a domestic air liner do. I know it wasn't a 737 it was bigger and the engines were round at the intake. 737s have a flat area at the bottom. If you look at the flight path of 93 it's further south on the map than we reside. I still think this was the doomed flight on 9/11/2001

Pilots manage to hit the Towers after several attempts and after stressing the plane to its limit and the Pentagon hit is NEARLY impossible to replicate! Now when it is official that Hanjour was a lousy pilot they suggest these Arabs just where lucky to hit 3 targets at their first attempt! That is so far fetched its laughable!
I have been to the former Twin Towers site and at the Pentagon; but when I biked with a group from Pittsburgh into where Flight 93 crashed 8 years ago, I cried. I fully realized what the passengers did. Hats off to the immigration officer who kept the fifth hijacker off the plane.

The cell phone calls were made late in the flight, so around when the aircraft was traveling at 10,000ft - 8,000ft. However only two were successful. The rest of the 30 calls were made by the on board airfones at 35,000ft.
You are referring to the Langley Fighters? They were scrambled at 0922 in a hurry because NEADS got word AA11 was still airborne and heading towards DC. To expedite them, they put in a standard scramble heading into the system (cont.)

1:18:04 I get goosebumps when I hear these alarms. It must have been terrifying for the people onboard. But the only good factors is that their deaths were quick.
I was 2 years old when this occurred. So, I felt a great deal of respect for the passengers by transcribing the hijackers transmission to let the world know what likely happened in the cockpit. My dad, mom and grandma told me their side of the story.
My dad was at work watching the twin towers be hit on tv with his co-workers. He called my mom and told her to turn on the tv. She was at home, taking care of me. She turned on the tv and watched the whole event unfold live. My grandma was told by my aunt what had happened and when she turned on the tv to the news channel, she watched the second plane (United 175) hit the south tower of the World Trade Center.
RIP to those who perished that day. They were martyrs and therefore, god has led them to paradise. As for the hijackers, not so much.

I don’t remember what I was doing in the exact moment but I believe my mom was home taking care of me at that moment when she watched it live on the news.

Everybody remembers whey they were during 9/11. I was 30 miles from WTC in Middle School. I raised my hand and asked if today would be inserted into our textbooks. It is fascinating to think that was my reaction to the news in History class.
The final 45 - 60 seconds before it crashed, UA 93 was forced into an overbank of 270 degrees, and then the final fatal nose dive inward towards the forest trees of Shanksville - and once the impact happened - IT WAS ALL OVER - THE HIJACK WAS OVER - BUT ALL OF THE PASSENGERS AND CREW, AS WELL AS THE HIJACKERS - WERE DEAD. VERY SADDENED ABOUT THAT.
The plane flew right over where I live on Mt. Washington in Pittsburgh at about 1:05:30, creepy.
Flight 93 was searching for Pittsburgh International Airport after the hijacking. Once the rouge pilot found the three rivers area, he redirected the route for Reagan National. He was going to use the Potomac River to help guide the plane to Washington, DC.

I was getting ready to go to my pre-Kindergarten class, until my folks unexpectedly told me to stay in my room after they heard the horrible news. I wasn't even five years old yet, and I think that's probably my earliest memory. In retrospect, not only did this tragedy see so many lives pointlessly lost to terror, but it also set the stage for the large transition in the unacceptably divisive and paranoid direction that America and the rest of the world have taken over time. Never forget those who lost their lives on those planes and in those buildings. We must never, ever forget. We can't.
Hearing that Mayday at ATC must have frightened those hearing it cause they probably knew it was happening again.

I have seen the one you talk of, and yes, they are 'real' samples, however there are two major factors.
1. The size of the aircraft symbols used are oversized compared to the aircrafts themselves. It makes for good show to use larger icons because it looks like they were right on top of each other, when in fact they were several miles apart.
2. Aviation is a 3D environment. Just because they are close laterally, doesn't mean they're on top. They may be 10,000ft of altitude between them.

I’m not easily spooked by really anything if I’m being honest, I’ve seen a lot but this was pretty rough, especially knowing that they all knew they were going to die and they died upside down and it’s just ugh it’s terrifying
