Excellent !! We are going the other way. Just raced my 2010 V6 hilux and it ran a 14.9 @90.7 mph , but I could NOT stall it of the line as the single pegger was useless and just smoked em up. About to swap the stock 3.58 to a LSD 3.72 , so better acceleration and twice the grip ! Well , that's the theory anyways.
I have the d4d engine with 88kw. With the same wheels (205/70/15) in Europian editions are with the lsd 3.5 ratio. The 4x4 drive edition with the same engine the use 4.1 non lsd, because of the bigger wheels. These 4x4 the use auto drift lock to cover the loosing lsd. The bigger d4d engine with 126kw with big wheels also use the lsd 3.5 because of high power. Your 2.7 use the short differential because gasoline engine speeds higher rounds
thanks for a clear, no nonsense demonstration of the work involved. So hard to find any good info these days but this is just what I needed.
Happy to help mate, thankyou for the kind words :)

Not sure sorry mate but if you look at the id plate it will have an axle code, youll be able to decode that and work it out :)
Hey is all 2.7 4x2 non lsd's?
I believe so, but dont take my word for it 😅
