Painting a Periphery Pirate Lance using Slapchop

  • I was inspired to write a little one-shot fiction piece for this lance of pirate mechs. If it's awful, let me know and I won't do it again. I did use the "slapchop" method on these mechs, though ended up drybrushing anyway to pull up the edges beyond what the previous drybrushing accomplished.
The Battlemechs are from Polygon Masterworks.

Stumbled across this one and your lance is similar to my Pirates with the king Crab as lead, Marauder as second in command and two Crabs as tertiary thugs. Thoroughly enjoyed the story, well done on the paint scheme.

Belated thought: I have a ton of IS mechs NIBoxes, and can never think of a good Regiment to color them in. TY Buddy! The answer was right in front of me, and I have decals for it too: Pirates! hahaha I don't know why it didn't click' for me! Pirates come from everywhere in the Periphery, and any kinda mech they can steal, beg or steal-again! Great video w/the Fiction too.
