I love making a plan, even if I choose to modify it in the future. I sometimes suffer from decision fatigue, so I try to make advanced decisions when I'm in the mood. When I'm too tired or brain foggy, I can look at my plan and have a plan.
I am a monogamous stitcher but I do need to make a priority list for the current kits and patterns that I have. I really have enjoyed this series about planning. Let’s face it, I enjoy everything you create 💗
Thanks Janet, I'm glad you enjoyed my planning 😊 I personally find it helpful to have at least some kind of order to potential projects just to keep it clear in my brain!
It sounds so obvious when you think about it but plans really don't need to be set in stone and we don't need to beat ourselves up for changing our minds! Happy New Year 🪡😄
Love you, Kat. Great video. Your planning makes so much sense and feeling you CAN change it makes me even more sense. I am looking forward to making progress with my plans also. Thanks for the encouragement.
That is definitely the issue with more WIPs Lynsey! Especially if you love then all and want to work on them all 😂 I do enjoy having lots to switch between to keep my interest but perhaps a few less than I have now wouldn't hurt 😂
Love the plan idea, I find it gets too much if I have too many wips, but I can use it for a focus on what to ro next! I do enjoy watching your wip progresses.
Thank you for all three videos, a lovely New Year treat. Nice to hear about your plans. I tend to only have one or two WIPs on the go but thinking about future plans and projects is another fun part of the hobby 😊
Thanks Sue...it was fun making this mini series! I totally agree...if I'm not actually stitching there's a good chance I'm buying stitchy supplies or thinking about stitching plans 😂
I totally get your making a plan even if or should I say when you don't stick to it, I do exactly the same I call it my pencil plan, then if I'm not feeling it or life gets in the way I can rub it out and change it around. I'm looking forward to following your stitchy progress this year. Have a very Happy stitchy 2025 ☺
I love all the videos. Found you from the blended threads video. I enjoy seeing all the progress you make in your flosstudes and can't wait for your wip parade.😊
That's one of Kat's own designs, available from her Etsy shop (link in the description). The snowman and robins are hers too, not the squirrel, though (but she does have a very cute fox pattern available!) 😊

Yes, that decision fatigue is a very real thing and advance planning definitely helps 😄
Plans are made to be changed for sure! In the end, it’s about doing what you enjoy! I’m looking forward to all of it!😊
Oh that is so true and well put 🩷

I totally agree…make plans but be flexible with the expectations. Happy New Year.🦉🧵🪡

Thanks Sherrie, and I'm glad my planning style resonated with you 🩷
I loved hearing how you plan your month Kat. Now I’m getting more WIPs I think I need to plan more so they all get some time! X

Thanks Lisa 😊 I would like to get my WIP count a little lower but at least having a plan keeps me on track so yay!

Yes...a pencil plan is exactly what it is! I'm so excited for 2025 and I hope you have a fabulous stitchy year 🪡😄

Thanks so much, and I'm delighted you're enjoying my videos 😄
I like your videos. You’re such a focused and dedicated person. And I’m a good paper planner myself.
Aw, thanks so much 😊
Wow I think I had too many biscuits over the holidays. I've been looking for this part 3 for an hour. I was looking on Patreon.
Oh no...glad you found it in the end xx
I’ve loved hearing about your plans. Do you know what pattern the mermaid is on your shelf?

So glad you enjoyed this Deborah 😊 Here's the link for the pattern catkinandlillie.etsy.com/listing/1455515216 🧜♀️🪡
Lol😂 I am guilty of changing my mind with my plans too
The colours are so pretty! That's definitely what drew me to that one.
@ that draws me too. All your projects are so beautiful 😍
