The Grand Priest has asked everyone to be present on the Supreme Kai's planet for a special announcement, a verdict has been reached by the Gods. Beerus is especially nervous scolding Goku wondering what he has done now. Suddenly the Daishinkan's appearance through a portal stops the conversation and everyone immediately rushes over to greet his holiness. The Grand Priest now states that something has gone on for too long that has changed the balance in the Universe. That mortals constantly break the rules of the gods without consideration of the consequences. They have consistently ignored the laws of Time travel and over the years have now been able to trivialize something as serious as death by the use of Dragon Balls.
Today this will change! The Verdict reads as follows, after careful consideration all Namekian's responsible for creating Dragon Balls will alter the wishing capabilities to now have restrictions on resurrecting life. This is to ensure the proper balance of the Universe and that no one has special privilege's to defy death indefinitely completely nullifying the meaning of life. Goku interrupts but what about Immortality? The Grand Priest responds, this also won't be allowed.
As for Time Travel anyone found breaking this law and creating another Time Ring will be erased by Lord Zeno himself as well as that Time-line. Everyone is sweating and startled by such a harsh decision knowing how many times this rule has been broken. The Grand Priest now asks, do we have any questions about this verdict?
Beerus rushes over to Goku covering his mouth and says no we don't! The Supreme Kai stands up and states that he will make sure that these laws are enforced and will contact all the Namekian's in the Universe about this ruling! The Grand Priest thanks everyone for coming today and expects that you will do your very best job at fulfilling this verdict.

Yes please.. This would force character development and we would have to character training all over again, which is deeply missed. DBZ has better plot and character development. DBS Super, I would argue had more interesting arcs and concepts such as the Goku Black arc and ToP (just the lazy writers never expanded on it, diminishing it's potential). Hello there! So I came up with a story on how we could up the stakes when DBS returns. Finally the Gods have ruled that the mortals can't abuse the laws anymore!!! Death is now permanent and Time Travel banned! Let me know what you think? I personally would love to start an Arc this way and write a story around it. I believe this would really add a special dynamic to the show.

This should happen! There hasn't been any sense of danger in dragon ball in such a long time.
People who die don't have an impact on readers because we know they can just be resurrected and wished back.
Even the super dragon balls should have a rule to not bring back people/universes.
I think a future enemy will appear that WILL kill Z-fighters, 17, krillin or piccolo. This will maybe make android 18 and Gohan give that motivation to train like crazy.
Yea when I was making a video the other day I was giving this some thought. I'd love for the story to have more suspense and impact for the fans.

If this would happen, I can imagine the tone of the arc would be dark and serious. Also, they could do this and say "psych!" at the end and bring everyone back

Yes PLEASE! I've been saying this for years! Not this in depth, which is a great job by you, but yes, this would save the Dragonball franchise to bring it back to its glory.
I agree with this concept. We are losing a lot of character development as well as not having consequences leading to flawed warriors. Great idea!

I don't think so. There is the afterlife, hell and Demon realm that can be explored more. Just because they aren't alive anymore doesn't mean they are forgotten.

Hope all is well my guy💪 and i LOVE this what if. It definitely needs to happen canonically cuz super has no dread cuz it has no consequences. I love super and anything dragonball but coming to life, immortality both need to be rid away with. Now time traveling idk cuz i love future trunks😭

My bro!! While I do think this would be GREAT for it to happen, it is highly unlikely. Like MaStar said, DBS is pretty geared towards a younger audience and as such, they will never really just "kill" off characters in such a way. Having those darker themes regarding not being able to revive and the punishment for time travel simply goes against what DBS is currently doing.
I don't think death of a character can't be geared for a younger audience. It's natural and part of great story development. That is why animated Disney movies for kids have had sad deaths to bring emotion and feeling into the story. It's part of the development of other characters. I think getting away from "Death" in a show or series is unnatural and then fails to connect the viewers young or old to the story being told.

If they made death permanent, they wouldn't write character's deaths into the plot. I'm just saying. The characters we've grown to know and love aren't going anywhere.
I think they could though and it would make you love the characters more. It would add value to their character development and story. It's been done in other Anime's where a character has their end. Besides if you wrote this in it's not like 2-3 years down the road it can't have some special case where one life is reversed. There has to be some stakes to add meaning to the characters and story. There has to feel like there is some permanent penalty at times.

@†Liberty or Death† Well I think other Anime's stories are superior to DBS because they do this. They have better story writing and character development. Does DBS have to do this? No, they don't but I think then they are really lacking in story development and then getting repetitive and stale with the Arcs. I'm just trying to look at this objectively. I stopped reading the DBS Manga 10 chapters ago because I feel it isn't good. I'd give it a 3/10 honestly so it's not worth reading. Which saddens me as a fan. I want the story to be good again some day and there are ways to do that. In DBZ they did that then got away from it.

I don't think so. Vegeta definitely cares too much for Kakarot now it's like they are brothers. He just wants to surpass him but in a brotherly rival type of way I think.

this would be the worst thing if it happened 😒 that was never toriyam's vision, and dragon balls are not supposed to have any negative consequence like in DB GT,, but most of U7 dont know about dragon balls and most ofb U6 probably don't know either so the "balance" is perfectly fine, only a few elites know about and use dragon balls
I mean on several occasions it was Toriyama's vision to end the series with Death being permanent for various characters. That is why the story and certain Arcs had a more emotional impact. Then DBZ got continued and they were brought back of course in the Buu arc. However in that time we didn't know if the show was going to go on or if it was just a great ending for us to enjoy which we did. When I watched Goku sacrifice himself to Cell and remain dead I thought that was it. Show over and great ending. The heroes still pulled it off and was the perfect Arc. That level of story telling needs to return where you don't know the outcome and everything doesn't work out. There has to be consequences or the story lacks real character development.
@@WhatIfTheories 🤔 yeah i hear u i also hear so many other people saying this lol and im not saying u and these others are wrong either 😅 maybe im just weird lol cause i don't want any consequences and i don't feel it makes for a better story,, i prefer stories wit a fairy tale endings and everything always working out for the good guys and even the bad guys sometimes, i feel like the whole point of dragon ball is the avoiding of all consequences because the Z fighters are the good guys who became friends wit gods,, the lesson of dragon ball to me is 🤔 be a super good guy, gain the favor of the gods, become the gods champions, get strong like the gods and u get to avoid consequences and death,, those are life lessons right there bro, a lot like Christianity

I don't think I'll change my stance as one of the big things that makes an Anime is the villain and consequences from that villain. Your picture Aizen is my favorite Anime villain but I also feel like Bleach did a better job at story telling. Can't wait for the Anime return btw.
I just feel like some of these DBS Arcs don't have a big bad (like the antagonist isn't even a bad guy) or enough consequences and I like to be on the edge of my seat with suspense on maybe it doesn't work out and death is in play. Maybe DBS just isn't that anymore but think they could do a lot better with the story overall just my opinion. Again though thanks for your explanation on the topic I do mull them over to give them thought.

I started watching DBZ in the 90's because of Vegeta, I started reading comics in the 90's because of Thanos, I started watching Bleach because of Aizen. What can I say, I love these types of characters. I really hope Bleach Anime answers a lot that the Manga couldn't since the end was rushed. Think we got like 120 days so I can't wait. Maybe in the next few months might do some Bleach vids or something on Aizen.
