I definitely like him from the beginning especially in the free time events because he seemed like the kind of counsellor friend and I really want him as a best friend And I just liked his personality as a whole

Not sure if this counts as spoilers but putting this warning just in case I like how they showed Chihiro (well technically alter ego) here. Normally Chihiro is underrated in the sense of his role in everything. He was really important to the game.
