Curls are one of my favourite exercises, when you can curl more than you used to you feel so powerful

@@hasnainwrites7509Yes absolutely. Do each of them 3-5 sets and 7-15 reps.
That's a good amount of volume.
@@helmuthvonmoltke5518 is 2 sets fine? if I go 3 per excercise then wouldn't that be junk volume as I'll be doing more than 16 sets per muscle group.

Your insertions in your biceps and triceps are very long Alex and that’s why your arms are lagging but because they are so long you have way more room to fill them out…….you have to potential to have some insane arms man

imma be real i love the incline bicep curls as they train the long head the best, then i do spider curls for the short head as i don’t like doing preacher curls as they don’t got as good of a tension curve imo and i do cross body curls as i feel like they hit the brachialis the best
I prefer doing the hammer curls in the cable not the dumbbell, makes me feel more contraction in my bicep and more mind muscle connection

Cable curls with the bar that spins is an elite movement too. You can really get the squeeze at the top

I’ve been doing the pinky to the floor since I watched your vid. Wanted to say thx cause it’s been working
Sing arm dumbell preacher culrs with a resistant band wrapped on and anchored. Slow negatives to a deep stretch while keep some resistance. When you can't do anymore use your other arm to get the dumbell curled and then stop using your spotting arm on the negatives. Best pump for biceps you will ever get.

The pinky to the ground is a small posture fix and it hits the bicep like crazyyy
preacher curls are great for targeting the bicep, a lot of people engage other muscles while doing standing curls, preacher curls isolates the bicep
This is literally my exact bicep workout:
Standing dumbbell curls, superset with incline curls X2
Hammers to failure x2
I always do this 3 exercises when I have pull

@@mistakrub2829 I think he meant instead of bringing the dumbbell up with your fingers facing the ceiling, keep your pinky down and straight with your fingers facing forward. (Again, I assume that’s what he meant but maybe someone else can clarify for me)

I think he means instead of having your wrist locked and "straight" 🤜 he lets his wrist curl down. Like pointing down with you pinky 🤙

When I was 13 I found some two 10kg (22lb)dumbbells for only $10. all i did were hammer curls. they work great and I still do them.

So what does "tilt my pinkie to the floor" mean? Bc in the video it seems you're just doing a normal hammer curl
Hold your arm out like your holding the db in hammer grip with your elbow at 90 degrees then tilt your wrist so the top half the db tilts away from you - idk if it makes any difference but that’s what he means.
Thoughts on an arm day vs incorporating them into Push and Pull days?
If your arms are lagging add a arm day somewhere if not don’t think there’s a need too just my 2 cents 🙂

Imo standing cable curls > standing dumbell curls, it keeps the tension on the bicep at the top and the bottom of the movenent and it makes more progress for me this way. I do hammer curls and incline curls as well, so pretty similar I guess
Also recommend doing chin-ups and pull-ups, and if you have a curl bar do reverse curls
