As always - you never stop surprising me, as usual I have ableton and this tutorial running and I'm doing it with you and I'm not even halfway through and I'm already full of admiration. Superb use of this instrument and effect, another unknown waters of sound design in front of me. Thank you!

You should save the random into your collections so it's easy to find. Also make a rack of Random with like 5 or 10 duplicated and save it as random x 25 or random x 50 ....etc

I do this all the time. I'll get infiltrator, throw it on something and make it really fd up sounding, then crop the transients and save the results. good for making weird drum one shits

As you are using sampler would the round robin be just as effective for triggering the random samples?

I can't figure out how you can map Random in Expression Controller to the Filter Type in Meld - when I try it says "Mapping unsuccessful : the selected paramter does not support this operation.

Doh! Just figured it out - you have to change the Expression type to "Remote" (in case anyone else was wondering!)

hello ned, how do you feel about live 12 performance wise? to me live 12 has drastically started consuming cpu powers: in projects where 11th version has been operating on 20%, new live is on 50%. have u noticed the same?

When you say “fellow passenger” do you actually mean the dark passenger dexter used to talk about on the telly series?

Oddly when I try to map to the osc engine types I get a message that says 'this parameter does not support this function'.. I'd love to play with that!

Switch it from modulate to remote.

@@NedRush That's the trick, thank you!! 10 years into Ableton and there's still always something new.
