Awesome ! I do my trout fishing mostly in Fall and Winter, so I'm excited to try these Gulp power bait doughs. I know the Gulp minnows do really well for different species. Looks like they have a handle in the trout too. Lol. Love the channel btw. Take care.
The gulp powerbait is made with water soluble resin which helps release the scent better. Old powerbait formulas used oil resin so it doesn’t release scent as well as gulp hence the higher catch rate. Imho
I was looking for a review only for the rainbow candy flavor, never new the other varieties existed. Thanks for explaining the powerbait differences. signed, confused powerbait shopper
I mixed gulp chunky cheese with regular corn. 50/50. Does well and stays on the hook better than straight gulp. Also did a 50/50 mix of corn and salmon peach has been even better.

Hey Caleb, I like size 10 or 12 baitholder hooks for Powerbait dough. Big enough to hold the right amount of bait but not too big.

The scent does disperse for regular bait. But the gulp seems to disperse differently

It's non-toxic glitter. Harmless, so the fish can process it...
The gulp trout dough just melts off the hook as soon as it hits the water. Pretty much useless
