He’s just so beautiful to watch, quads or not…
❤⛸️🌹✨👏👏👏❄⛄🎄☃️
american never even mentions Soviet training or Russia
Congratulations on your world title. Amazing. Also superb at the gala in Montreal
Love Ilia! But this video is a poor AI creation. Somebody make a real video for him, please!
Ilia is a poetic machine. This young man is a force to reckoned with.
Why all the footage of random people?
For real! They have no connection to the story and are very confusing.
lol it is funny
A wonderful, gifted and dedicated skater, I still worry about the effects these quads have on developing young bodies. Often, they lead to groin injuries, the usual kiss of death to a male skater's career. I am sadly reminded of the great Alexi Urmanov, whose brilliant career ended when he was barely 20, due in large part to a groin injury. Of course that was 30 years ago. Hopefully, sports medicine has evolved to save these burgeoning careers. Go, Ilia!
The editing is atrocious. Whoever did it should be ashamed of themselves. Congrats to Ilya though.
Well, just because you didn't like it doesn't mean everyone else doesn't. It's the format of the video.
@@netcomru2824 using stock video/images, accompanying every single word of the commentator with them - it's not only unprofessional, it's evil, whatever everyone else thinks about it.
Don't watch it if you don't like it, nobody's forcing you to.
@@netcomru2824 I did just that - I stopped mid video and I am putting your channel in the ignore list.
Btw your treating those who criticises you is because of your “ru” syllable, isn’t it? Not smart.
ong 💀
To me, Malinin is more Russian than American. He is an excellent jumper and I look forward to him eventually reaching the level of Yevgeny Plushenko.
i wouldn't be surprised , if he considers himself 100% american
He was taught by his parents, Russian blood and school.
@@fortunatocaceba756 shure, but i doubt very much he wants to live in russia. so he is an american with russian roots
@fsbagent711 Ilia has never been to Russia and no plans to do it in the nearest 15-20 years
Interesting, but they need to do a remake of this video and make it more like the up close and personal clips from the 1988 Olympics where they featured Brian Boitano and Brian Orser as well as athletes from other sports. They'd start out with an airplane flying over a map to the place where the athlete is from then they had this short jingle with victorious sounding music. They would then go in to a presentation about the athlete. Some was narrated but there were also parts where the athlete spoke and they would tell about their road to the Olympics, things they are interested in other than their sport and what their life goals are in and out of their respective sport. They were really interesting segments. Something comparable to that would be a much better presentation than this video.
He is incredible! ❤
Guys....there is no such thing as a tulup. You are referring to a toe loop.
Lowkey looks like it was edited by an AI 😂
Modern technology is limitless 😉
@@netcomru2824 Only you don't know how to use it. The junk you put on RUclips is embarrassing, to say the least.
The USA Olympic FS org literally failed to identify the greatest figure scater is not the first time as might that they lack the skills and Ilia first and foremost he was being discriminated. This year, IM was absolutely incredible, has proven to them in 2024 World Figure Scater that he is the GOAT. God Bless him. Take good care of your health...
A terrible video, half of the shots have nothing to do with Ilia, the AI voice is also unbearable. He deserves a better video story to tell.
Teach the AI voice that it's toe loop, not tulip.
oh well he is russian - that now makes sense. I was quite surprised at his brilliance from an American given the sport is dominated by russia and Japan / China etc now. He is absolutely fabulous.
This is a robo AI video with misplaced unrelated pics.
Incredible background!
oufff...Get rid of this fake announcer here
It is a turn off for you all to put in the most obviously inappropriate people that do not belong. This is not professional at all! This young man deserves better.
Why the focus on Russia. Ilia was born in America which makes him an American who skates for America. He doesn't skate "under" the American flag.
Well, actually he is genetically Russian, and American is not a nationality, but a citizenship. He is pro-USA and loves his country, but he is still Russian by nationality.
@@netcomru2824 Nope. My maternal grandparents came from Poland. My mother was born here. She was an American, no question about it. My fraternal grandparents came from Ireland. My dad was born here. He was an American. He fought in WWll for America. I'm second generation, I'm an American. Please don't insult the American people with your ignorance.
@@netcomru2824he is American National . That’s what counts . Who cares about his DNA. He is born in USA that’s makes him American . И точка
@@lazyriver53 Being first generation is quite different from second generation. He is definitely American, but is still part of two cultures. His parents are russian and train him with the russian methods of figure skating
He was born in California, so he is a natural American. My mother is a German, but I am an American-well German - American. Ilia Malininin is a Russian-American of which he should be proud.
The story is interesting but the video clips are sad. Selected video clips do not honor his story. If you don’t have time to use appropriate video clips then just show clips of just Ilia.
You have some interesting information but you really need to work on your delivery. The video presentation is average at best.
Well, at least you liked something, that's good. The video is average, so it's up to the amateur. But in any case, I'll try to do better.
So lucky that he is out of Russia, and in America! Good for everyone!
On Русский .
@@tatyanaboranyan7868 Born in US, he is American, US is a mix of talented people from all over the world! Here nobody cares from what country you came from, even if you are such an unpleasant country as Russia is. Lucky for him and for us
Ilia is Amazing! But this is a terrible, fake video. Please take this off the internet You are talking about his family while showing a completely different family. Are you kidding?
Why this video shows pp that has nothing to do with this teen?
Random footage and inane, badly written AI narration. He is so talented and deserves much better than this.
This is so odd and poorly done that it's hilarious. I'm cracking up at the irrelevant video clips. Wtf?! 😂
Ilia is an AMERICAN, born and raised. Period.
Who cares. I doubt he would've won if Russians took part in the world championship. Their national competition looked much more interesting that the isu 2024 championship
@@yuliyarue1804 Well, you would be wrong on that. No Russian men would have even gotten onto the podium.
With exclusively RUSSIAN blood. Period
@@fortunatocaceba756 So? He's an American. Period.
His mother is not a pretty lady, but a good skater.
Wow that rude af
That’s rude to say about someone’s mother, especially when it’s Ilia’s 😟
Tatiana has beautiful eyes.
What ? Tatyana is beautiful! Ilia looks like alooot like her, absolutely stunning like his mother and father.
What kind of comment is this?
He is not professional skater
Worst video ever. All the other crap but skating wasn't good
america barks on great Soviet Union and same time takes credit for what Brilliant Soviet school created in skating. At least that brat could put RUSSIAN in front of american. what a misery to see american flag shaking on Great Soviet Russia school and training, looking what they are - rags! Not america , Russia won
Soviet training, RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA and miserably credit goes to america which did nothing
Her mom represented Uzbekistan and then immigrated to the US. Ilia was born and raised in the US
@@samroy5967 Ya, raised and educated by what his parents inherited from the USSR, he was not taught by america! america does not have those qualities, they brought from the USSR, Both parents were USSR trained and career made!!!
a prodigy
The Russian text was translated into English by Google Translate. The video was created by AI. Bad job! The author has no shame putting this junk on RUclips.
