Hey man, my dad past away 3 years ago and I can tell you that this hits pretty hard even now...please make sure that you are in contact with your father and if you have any beef wtih him then make sure to figurite out before he passes away, because I didn´t get that chance

im 22 about to graduate college in 2 months and start the job of my dreams after a month in ireland with my boys.
first time I heard this track, I was about 17-18, and going through something not great. going from highschool to college, expecting it to get better once I got the fuck out of that town, and it didn't. I hated myself, I was a drunk/high fucking loser pushing off any responsibilty, getting worese and worse, and everything just kept adding on. as my mental state got worse, I stopped trying even less in school, and the anxiety of failure kept growing. this was a 4am wallowing in my puddle of hatred/anxiety/depression regular. did something very very stupid one night.
to any young man/woman that was where I was. IT IS GOING TO BE OK.
fuck the expectations. fuck the bad people, fuck that nagging little voice in the back of your head that tells you that you are a waste, that you cant make it, that all you are capable of is this misery and mediocrity. this funk is temporary, even if it feels like it isn't. this world needs you, and it might not be clear why that is right now, but one day it will.
