The wnba actually isn't that bad. It's a little less exciting then the nba, the women are actually pretty talented. I think the reason people don't really like the wnba is the fact that there is women playing basketball.

Watching the 3-point shootout is probably my favorite thing to watch during the all-star weekend festivities. I find it sad that this is the 1st time I am seeing this in the WNBA. Did these competitors decide to play for charity or was this decided by the league? It’s a nice gesture, but with all the talk about “the wage gap” and such, why couldn’t these ladies win some money for themselves?
Kristin Smith I’m aware of the revenue difficulties. If it’s really that bad, then why have all-star weekend and festivities in the first place? I saw a small sample of their all-star game. It wasn’t pretty, haha!
Kristin Smith haha, I know that they’ve been donating an average of $1M per team to the WNBA for several years now. That may change in 2021. It might be time for their league to either cut salaries across the board or consider shutting down completely. If you ask me, for the little that they generate, the players are overpaid by a lot.
