    • @eamparbeng
      @eamparbeng 2 года назад +12

      The WNBA doesn't make enough money to sustain a best of four playoff series. Back then, the NBA had a best of three playoff series like the WNBA only in the first round. It ultimately boils to values of consumers. If it had a seven game playoff series now, the WNBA would lose more money than the scant amount it currently generates. As hard as it is to accept, that's basic economics

      Welcome to the 21st Century. The Women's basketball game is a more purer form of the game. The Men's game has great athletes who all bump their heads on the rim. Needing no real team ball skills just jump swist and slam. I love the NBA game but I really enjoy the Womens pure love and dedication to this game..

    In 2019 her peers voted her the most overrated player in the league. It's an insult to one of the best players to ever step in between those lines. She revolutionized the game, often listed as a guard, forward, and a center. Possess the ability to go on a 12 point run by herself. Passes fluidly and effortlessly at 6'4" and also handles like a guard. Scores on all three levels: the post, midrange and dribble drives, and can consistently shoot the 3. Not to mention, during the 2021 she was a literal coach on the floor. Candace came to Chicago with a plan: to bring her city a Championship. She was the piece that Chicago needed. A leader on and off the floor. Chicago came into the playoffs as a 6 seed and they slayed every giant in each round. And even when Candace wasn't scoring she was able to make her presence felt in a number of other ways. She epitomizes professionalism in every sense of the word and even in game 4 when her team was down 14, she never lost her composure. She did not try to rush or do to much. She simply was the calm in the storm. And it was only befitting that she got the final rebound as the seconds ticked away. She never put the ball down after that. She's a legend already. Hands down.
