Sloot is just so fun to watch. In my opinion greatest WNBA PG ever. And Copper is a dawg. Her emergence was amazing to see. Just an amazing team who all contributed to this.

You guys act as if the WNBA is irrelevant. Remember, it was the NBA that started this league back in 1997 and it kick-started its first dynasty in the Houston Comets. It had hall of famers in Lisa Leslie and Cynthia Cooper (I think). It had numerous Olympians. And they built off of it. Sure, the league has lost a great deal of luster recently, but it's STILL around! Besides, who gives a shit if the fans didn't show up for the Chicago Sky's parade. That was their decision. It shouldn't destroy the moment that these Sky players had, winning their first ever championship. Candace Parker is a sure fire future HOF. Diana Turasi will definitely be in Springfield Mass one day. And Brittany Grinder has a bright career ahead of her too.
Couldn't have won without Azera Stevenson. But you could say that about most of the team. More entertaining than men's basketball. Sloot is the best PG. Candace was the missing piece.

1-of the best parts about them winning? Players like Slooty & Ally stuck it out. So many players. Walked out on the team. Sylvia Folwes, Candace Dupree , Christi Tolliver, Elena Della Donne wanted out. This team deserved better. Other players like Tamera Young, Jamierra Faulkner proudly toiled for this team when it wasn't cool. I also give credit to Pokey Chatman. She brought Ally & Slooty here & laid the framework for this franchise. Congrats ladies 🎉 Job well done 👍
