Nifty setup with the pipes Mike. I can't even count how many times my pencil cup got knocked over and dumped things everywhere. I gotta get that thing off the workbench. Thanks for the idea!
@@TensquaremetreworkshopIt should be pretty easy for me; I keep a couple of my most used pencils in my shop apron; the less frequently used (like my white pencil for marking dark woods) items go in the cup.
- but then I am not a woodworker- I am a maker. Why limit yourself? This is not 'normal' pegboard- it has 10mm spacing, is double thickness (with a space between) and will take 4mm bolts. Very versatile and secure mounting.

I find that you can actually train yourself to put the pencil back in the rack, rather than on the bench. Eventually.

@@NWGR Agree that apron (or other on-person) storage is best- always available one handed.
No yellow pipe? Very neat and usable by any workshop or Shed
