Got fitted today, tried the Ping, Cobra, TM but the Callaway smoke max, blew them all away, increase in ball speed, distance, consistency was just amazing, felt brilliant too, and never thought I'd be coming away with a callaway, had eye on something else but it was just amazing
I knew which one you were going with at the start from watching all your testing videos. If I was in the market right now for a new driver, I would pick the same. It does look incredible and the flight is so consistent.
Great video Hannah! I just got my Ping 10K and had to loft up 1 degree and it is absolutely money. I'm not sure if you've tried any other Ping 10K shafts but you might want to give both the Tour Chrome and Black a shout. Very different launch characteristics and feel to the stock Alta CB.
I tried both shafts and found them too spinny, popped the ball up. Ping stock shafts are rubbish, my fitter agrees and whilst he advocates spinny shafts for slower swing speeds, as you progress up in speed, they just don’t deliver.
Came down to the same 3 for me. The higher launch of the qi actually lost distance for me since I’m not super fast and the fairways in Florida are soft. The roll on the ping 10k gained me 10 yards. Awesome video !
@Hannah Could the shorter distance from the PXG be due to the shorter shaft? Maybe playing it the same shaft length as the Ping and TM would bring the distance up to theirs.
Based on the information provided by you. I would try to set the Qi10 down 1 degree to lower the launch. I think you are on the right track with your club choice.
I landed on the Ai Smoke Max during a fitting, coming from a Stealth 2 +. On average, gaining yards with unreal-for-me dispersion, and shocking forgiveness. My miss is also toe side, and there is nearly no drop off in spin/distance. Ventus Blue TR 6S shaft.
@@nationalclubgolfer definitely H, I game the original TM M4 currently, so I'm wondering if the dull sound of the carbon face on the Qi10 might put me off a little, but like you is the numbers that matter the most, how do you find the sound of the Qi10.?
@@Golfing-AddiCt I wouldn't say the face sounds dull, but you can definitely notice the difference. It didn't impact me enough to override the fact i love the performance
Nice review! Some stats on screen comparing distance, height, backspin and dispersion would’ve been nice to see. lofting up the ping 10k may have solved your height issue. I just think the ping is a superior product to TaylorMade
Love a review with loads of clubs in one, so great video! I'm waiting for the Ping to land in my pro shop and I'm buying it, to replace current G430 max, as I just like everything about my current club, but neeeeeed the latest!

I picked the Ping 10K and don't regret it at all. Launches plenty high because I tee it up miles. Very straight and sounds like a canon off a destroyer. We need to enjoy the advantage this season because I have a feeling every manufacturer will have a 10K driver next year. Lol
Great video Hannah, I’ll be sticking with my Stealth 2 HD but I did enjoy hitting the Qi10 recently. What course was that, it looked a bit too sunny and green to be in Yorkshire!?
Wow. Literally the three drivers I like the best right now and have been struggling to pick between the max and ping 10k. Been testing them against each other past couple weeks and having trouble deciding but leaning tm but that could change
👍only asked because you liked the shorter length of the PXG. I had TM shorten the shaft by 3/4" down to 45" for added control. They also changed out the fixed (TSS) weight in the rear to get the desired swing weight. Great drivers. @@nationalclubgolfer
Need a four club shoot out, 9 and 10.5 Ping vs 9 and 10.5 TM, or fitted Ping vs fitted TM. Those are the clubs of 2024, so seeing those three video's, fitting at both then a shootout would be great. (and costly!, but worth it..subscribers need to do a whip round !!)
Great video Hannah, unlike you i can spin it too much, really hit up on driver, so launch isn’t an issue, consequently as you suggest found the lower spin characteristics of Ai Smoke max, worked for me, found dispersion was great with long distances compared to the others I tried. I really get the fitting benefits with modern equipment, most manufacturers are producing great clubs, but with slightly different benefits, i think I’ve found the driver for me, hope your choice works well and sets things up for a positive season ahead.
Good stuff! Always appreciate your efforts! I have been doing a similar side by side with my Black Ops and G430 Max 10k, every day for over a week, and the Ping was simply shooting, straight, frozen ropes but not longer than the PXG, Enter Qi10 yesterday. Without parroting your review, same results here. PXG on the bench 😞, the Qi10 is so good, the Ping, so good. I will just rotate them both in and out for awhile. But this weekend? Qi10 for the win...today 🙂
I feel that what is amazing is that we are talking about Taylormade in the same sentence (forgiveness) as my oft played and beloved G-series drivers. I have used every iteration of TM driver over many years but never have a tested them side by side with such similar results . Unlike your experience with the Qi10, I lofted up to 10.5 from 9 as the stock Diamana was not giving me the trajectory/spin that I needed. @@nationalclubgolfer
Great video Hannah. I would like to ask this. I am fairly short for a guy 5 ft 6 inches. Some of my friends play with drivers that are 43.5 inches in length. You mentioned you were fitted into a shorter driver. I am curious how long??? I have been playing with one thats 43.75 inches . Seems to be easier to control and doesn't really seem to lose much distance if any for me. Many people don't know this but Jack Nicklaus played with a driver under 43 inches in length. Good luck with your new driver. :) Figuring these things out is one of the fun parts of our sport. Joe
I came down to those 2 models also. I’ve been watching you since you started and your picks seem to always fit me too 😊 I’m also coming from TSR2!. I Like the ping 10k alot but. that tm max 9dg is actually giving me more distance on the course side by side. I went with Ventus blue 6S 45.25. Can’t wait to try 2024 Ventus blue with it. Great job on the review! Birmingham, Alabama
whats Ironic, is I recall last season, you disqualified the Ping for being to high in the wind where you play. and this season its a bit to low. you inspired me to try the Regular Paradym last year, and I picked up 4 MPH over my Ping G410 Max.
Loved your fitting at TM it was one of the deciding factors in me going with the TM Qi10 Max. I’m coming from a Callaway driver and I LOVE it. So forgiving and love the feel. Great videos!

Thanks! Keep up the great content. Appreciate not only the manner of how you do your content and how informative and descriptive you are, but it is nice to someone who has a driver swing speed more in line and relatable as mine (95mph range) and not 115-120 plus as other RUclipsrs. Qi10 was obviously the favourite, head over heels above, in the end won by a lil edge Great review and well-done TM 😍 You're the same like myself I suppose, never really practice punch shots with driver Hopefully once you switch down to 9°, and maybe play ball position 1 to 2 balls back for that lower flight
Nice video. Why not go back for another fitting session and voice the concerns, maybe get more into shaft choices? There are plenty of shafts that aren't stocked at main fitting centers.
Qi 10 all day ping looks too busy on the crown sounds awful and is 100 quid more. Having hit the Qi 10 max I found it so easy , it feels and sounds great and carries 10 yards further than my current callaway mavrik. Yet to try the new callaways but they will need to be pretty good to beat the Taylormade.
Is the Mizuno's shaft any longer than the other models? Yes its longer than their 45 inch satandard but most drivers are now 45.5 or 45.75. Feels like you potentially aren't representing the facts correctly which is unfair to Mizuno.
