    I like how this channel did the aftermarket exhaust sound and went through the gears that was a nice touch that no other channel is doing now.

    I love my Super Duke. Not only is it more fun to ride than the Ducati, it's a lot cheaper. Here in Canada, the total cost of my bike after taxes and including both the Tech Pack as well as a 5 year extended warranty (6 in all) was lest than the MSRP before taxes, freight or extended warranty on a Tuono 1100 Factory. Not sorry I bought 1290R instead, it's hilariously good. The Evo suspension works great. I'm having a minor issue with mine that others have had too, but I'm sure I'll get it sorted out (appears to be a software error).

    Excellent comparison! Both bikes are the cream of the crop, but I have to say Super Duke all the way. 1st The WP suspension is great. Event though ÖHLINS has the popularity of being the best, WP is right there with them. I have experience with both suspensions & can’t tell the difference. 2nd price, the KTM wins that by far. 3rd Accesories prices, you can make the Super Duke look the way you want by half the cost of the street fighter’s accessories. 4th maintenance cost, again KTM much cheaper. 5th technology, the KTM has more goodies like cruise control. Finally performance, they are neck and neck. Street Fighter beats it on the straights, but on the twisties the Super Duke wins because of the torque coming out of the turn. You can’t go wrong with any of them though. It all depends on your preference and price.

      @@xede0r the sp adds more carbon fiber parts plus a more expensive paint color. The sp can only be compared with the Superduke 1290 RR which was not mentioned in this video. I guess we’ll have to wait for a video of those two to be able to compare them.

      In Germany where I live, the KTM superduke R has a base price of 26K, that’s exactly the same price as the Ducati Streetfighter V4 S. So I would definitely buy the Ducati. If the KTM is significantly cheaper in your country than the Ducati, I get it. But buying a KTM over a Ducati for the exact identical amount of money is just crazy in my opinion. Ducati is just something exclusive and special, a whole different league compared to KTM.

    • @ronaldleguizamon196
      @ronaldleguizamon196 8 месяцев назад

      @@_carfreak_2812 I’m glad in Germany the prices are comparable, here in the US the the Ducati street-fighter V4S is listed at $27,595. If you get the Grey Nero color ($27,795). The 2022 KTM Super Duke R Evo is listed at $20,399. Again parts & services the same, more expensive for Ducati. I also owe a Ducati & I know how exclusive they are, but other brands like KTM are stepping up their game at more affordable prices in different parts of the globe with the same or more technology. Don’t get me wrong, I love Ducati, but I’m not an exclusive Ducati rider. I just love motorcycles & I really love my Superduke R evo & everything it comes with.

Good point that a motorcycle design without fairings or wind protection will be a challenge to make use of all that power above 200 horses on the freeways, in terms of rider comfort while getting blasted with lots of wind. The Duke's torque advantage is nice. Both expensive bikes.

    I think the Super Duke 1290 can be more worthy because mostly naked bikes don't need much/great top end as the rider can't bear that much windblast but if one needs real fun and pure hoonigan/hooligan feel and initial grunt then he should go for Duke 1290 but on the other hand Ducati Street fight V4 has light weight+ more bhp and the V4 engine+ electronics loaded (except 2 which is in super Duke actually 1 is keyless ignition is not a big factor but Cruise control is)

    The cruise control sales it for me and also if/when KTM gets rid of the trellis frame and does to aluminum they’ll drop a lot of weight but one thing that lets the KTM down is that WP suspension it’s good but it’s not Ohlins or KTech good imo.
