  • This is a short video about my progress on growing Davidson's Plum in South-East Queensland. I have planted it in a kind of tropical forest setting on my property, where there's shade and soil is nice and moist for the greater part of the year.
Some plants have been in the ground for around 18 month, while other, younger plants have only been planted around 6 month ago. All of the plants were bought from my local native plants nursery as a tube stock.
You'll notice, that the older plants are a bit yellowish, probably because they get more sun than they should.
Nevertheless, all of the plants seem to be doing OK, apart from the one that was planted in very open position, where it was totally baked by direct summer afternoon sun, so I had to dig it out and plant it in a different, more sheltered location.
I hope you'll enjoy this video!
