- I added Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow mufflers to my 2013 BMW 750Li and in this video I’ll show you what that sounds like at idle, revving from a standstill, highway cruising, low speed city driving and also pedal to the floor acceleration. This is a follow-up to the one I previously filmed demonstrating the sounds of the car without mufflers. I actually was intending on keeping that setup until I took the car on a 4 hour road trip. The highway drone was so loud that the high-end audio system couldn’t cover up the drone.
The OEM mufflers were too quiet and didn’t provide any hint of the powerful 445 HP V8 engine, but having no mufflers at all was annoying as hell on the highway. So, I split the difference and opted for a muffler that would provide a good engine growl, while minimizing the interior drone. Enter the Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow mufflers. These are said to provide “moderate exterior sound and minimal interior sound”. I’m happy with these as so far they have yet to annoying me a highway speeds, and provide a little audible thrill when stomping on the ‘go pedal’.

Very odd choice regarding the mufflers but surprisingly worked well.
Are they 3 inch Mufflers
I wish I had saw this before. I just did a muffler delete today and went back in 2 hours to the muffler shop to have them put magnaflow resonators on. The drone was ( and still is disgusting). is there any drone at all? I can’t tell by the video.. all videos sound great, untill your sitting in the car..
I read on bimmerforums that the best combo is to keep the factory muffler but delete the cats and resonators. I'll be doing this next month

@@mrnukeduster I deleted the cats only. I can now hear the turbos spool, loudness and tone is pretty much the same, no drone. I also used BimmerLink to lock my exhaust in sport mode for some better sound. Ultimately though the insulation of the 7 series means you gotta go loud if you wanna hear the exhaust inside the car
I have a 03 745li and want to get mufflers put on as my car is already straight pipe. My question is would I need one or two of these as my car goes one pipe into two mufflers.

How reliable is this car ?
Matthew James Harris had mine for just 6 months, only new rear brakes have had to be replaced. It drives excellent and the comfort is just amazing, even at uneven and bad roads. It is very well built.
I've had zero issues with mine in over 2 years
What engine does that unit have? N63tu?
