There’s still a hole in country music where Keith used to be. His “Tell Lorrie I Love Her” song kinda felt like foreshadowing into his life… My heart broke for Lorrie and their kids when he passed away.
Well said
Just love love the piano ....the vibe....❤
Keith Whitley sang from every depth of his soul. He was an amazing singer. He left us too soon. Our loss was the angel's gain.
Keith has the voice that was filtered through the floor of Heaven.
i love this song
He left us far to soon. One of the great voices.
Love Love Love Keith Whitley! What a talent he was. Been called the best male country singer ever.♥️😃🍟🔥
He had a special way to get right to your ❤ Thank you 😊
Keith was a great singer. I'm no stranger to the Rain is another beautiful song by him
I could soak in his music all day! RIP Keith! You are still adored by your fans!!! Love from Texas!!!🤠🤠🤠
This song just breaks my heart, you should do a reaction to his ‘10 feet away’ ❤
Absolutely beautiful!
Sigh... so romantic! Love slow dancing to this song.
I have cried, laughed and sang a long to this reaction. My husband couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, as us southerners say. But he would sing karaoke to this song every chance he could. When he was sent home with hospice he got my uncle to bring his karaoke machine over so he could sing it to me one last time, that was 11 years ago. So everytime I hear this song a ton of emotions come back, but I wouldn't change the memories of that song for nothing. Good reaction as always.
Kerrie, your post made me cry. My late husband had a beautiful tenor voice and we both loved Keith Whitley. We would dance in the living room and he would sing this as we danced. He passed 7 years ago from esophageal cancer. I can't hear a Keith Whitley song without tears for my Jim. I hope you are doing OK. 🙏
When he died, his wife Lorrie Morgan wrote and sang a song "Dear Me" which is amazing!
This song always gives me goosebumps. Love it 👏🏻🎤🥰‼️
Arguably the greatest voice Country music has ever produced
Simply beautiful. Always in my country playlist. ❤
That voice is pure silk and country!❤
This breaks my heart each time I hear it.
One of my favorite's by Keith Whitley is "When You Say Nothing At all" I think you will really enjoy it. Although you can't go wrong with anything this man sings.
Keith had so many great songs in his short time with us. He's most definitely missed! Til a Tear Becomes a Rose(duet with Lorrie Morgan), I Wonder Do You Think of Me(released just after his death and went to #1), Ten Feet Away, Brotherly Love(duet with Earl Thomas Conley), Homecoming '63, Miami, My Amy
Oh I love Keith. He is so underrated
His voice was amazing 🙏
There is just something great about a country singer from Kentucky. So many great ones. The Judds, Dewight Yoakam, Keith, Chris Stapleton, Patty Loveless, Loritta Lynn, just to say a few
This is the perfect country song. The voice, lyrics and emotion! Keith was just so good. ❤🎶
Without a doubt love Keith Whitley's smooth voice. Other songs you need to check out by him is "Tell Lorrie I love her" , " When you say nothing at all" , " Brotherly love" ft. Earl Thomas Conley, "Miami, my Amy", "I'm over you", "Til a tear becomes a rose" ft. Lorrie Morgan, "Homecoming '63" , "Somebody's doin' me right", " I never go around mirrors". Hope you enjoy this list I'll give you more later I'll let you get through these first.
You just reacted to his wife lorries morgan.Miss this guy
beautiful and powerful song. Such a smooth voice.
He has such a soulful voice!
Such a sad song. He loves a woman that may never truly love him
My take is that the man he's referring to may have died and she is having trouble truly letting him go.
His voice will always remind me of how he left the world far too soon.
Completely different genres but have you ever heard the song by Kix of the same name?
It has a completely different meaning as well. 80s metal at its best.
Please react to Keith and his wife Lorrie Morgan-"Til A tear becomes a rose"
The first time Vince Gill sang Go Rest High On That Mountain was at Keith's funeral. He wrote the song for his brother but it wasn't completed until he sang it for Keith.
The first verse of Go rest high on that mountain is about Keith Whitley
Keith and Earl Thomas Conley- Brotherly Love is a great one.
"When You Say Nothing At All", "Ten Feet Away", "Tell Lorrie I Love Her", "I'm No Stranger To the Rain", "Miami, My Amy", "I Don't Go Around Mirrors", "I'm Over You", "Homecoming '63", "I Wonder Do You Think Of Me", "Nobody In His Right Mind Would Have Left Her", "Till A Tear Becomes A Rose", "Charlotte's In North Carolina", and "I'm Gonna Hurt Her On the Radio", are fantastic by Keith Whitley
My favorite artist of all time
Keith Whitley…the epitome of traditional country. The voice! His bio-song “Stranger to the Rain” is mentioned in Vince Gill’s “Rest High on the Mountain”, which was written not only for Vince’s brother, but for Keith as well.
Only 3 albums before his passing…Keith left a stamp on our lives.
Sitting on your front porch out in the country with a cool summer breeze blowing watching the sun set and kieth whitley on the radio. Pure gold
One of the greatest voices i ever heard. It seems so effortless.
I was a DJ at a country station in the late eighties. I still remember the news of Keith's passing coming over the news feed and breaking it to our audience. Heartbreaking
CHILLS. Amazing.
-Steve's wife
Love this song.
Saw him many times...even as a child with Ralph Stanley👏👏👏👏
So happy you did this one! This is Keith's signature song and it is very beautiful. This song especially always brought chills but since his passing I can't listen without tears. Great reaction as always.
Me too. Your comments were the same as I was thinking. Thank you 😥
Keith was a triple threat artist. He could sing play and write songs. This song is the last song I danced with my sweet wife before she passed away
May 9, 1989 the day that what should have been the future of Country music became what could have been. Rest in Peace Keith. You are and always will be missed.
Thank you for bringing Keith back to your channel. One of my favorite entertainers, aways will be. Gone to soon and missed so much. One of my favorite songs by Keith is Any Old Side Road. Blessings to you from the Oregon coast.
Keith Whitley was definitely a talented artist, it’s a beautiful song
This song breaks my heart when I hear it. So beautiful when you know he's gone. His vocals are so captivating and laden with a great country charm. Great reaction Craig. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Cool to know the borders don't stop great music. Ann Murray is a favorite of mine. Peace from Northern Michigan.
“I Wonder Do You Ever Think of Me” is anotherGreat song, love his voice.
"Miami, My Amy" I think was my favorite . But all of his music is absolutely beautiful. His voice was so unique. So glad he left a great legacy of amazing music. But will always miss him 😢
Amazing song
Hi Craig this is a beautiful song and his voice is smooth as silk!
I’ve been waiting for you to do this song. I’m glad you liked this video. Thank you Craig.
Let's go!!
Love to watch you find songs that I grew up with 🎵❤️
Keith Whitley...what a wonderful, unique voice to be lost too soon! One of his best songs. My husband and my "song" is sung by Keith, "When You Say Nothing at All". I LOVE his version of the song " I Never Go Around Mirrors ". Gorgeous!!!
Love this song! First time I heard it, it automatically was added to favorites list, and it's still on it all these years later
He and earl Thomas Conley did a song brotherly love it was great
You made my whole day. It's my favorite Keith Whitley song. Love, love
"Till A Tear Becomes A Rose" next please! Beautiful song!
Beautiful bittersweet vocals. Fantastic message. Fantastic lyrics.
Another great reaction love this song ❤️
One of the worst feeling you could ever have, does she still want me or someone else.. 😟
I love this song ,gone too young ,Keith had a smooth ,relaxing, easy listening voice singing great songs. Can u add another lovely song to ur playlist called keeper of the stars by Tracy Byrd pls Craig .ur hard work is paying off ur channel continues to deservedly grow ,well done Craig 🇬🇧
I love this song and sing it quite often at karaoke. However, John denver wrote a very similar song with a very similar name called "Don;t Close Your Eyes Tonight".
When you Say Nothing At All. It has been covered but his is the best.
Listen to Keith Whitley's widow, Lorrie Morgan's song, "Dear Me". She released it after he passed away.
Loved this
I'm new to your channel but I love your reactions Keith Whitley is on of my favorite singers next to Reba and Brooks and dunn
Beautiful 🇧🇷😍
I love Keith Whitley!! You should really do the Travis Tritt trilogy. It's so amazing!!!
❤❤❤
One of his last performances was in the UK there is video of it.
Definitely need to listen to either his version of "Nobody in His Right Mind" or George Strait's....one of THE best Country songs ever ever ever
No one touches your soul more. What a loss in country music.
Elvis did. But Keith had a beautiful voice and you are right it was a huge loss to country music.
If you haven’t done so, you should check out his widow’s music. She’s Lorrie Morgan and she’s great too! Two of my favorites by her are “Picture of You/Me” (Forgot the end part in my old age) and “Something in Red”.
I would suggest you listening to and maybe reacting to Keith's song "Brother Jukebox". Mark Chesnutt also had his own version of this song but I would recommend listening to Keith sing it.
I love his version of this, however, I absolutely LOVE the first time I heard this song back in the 70's by (go figure!) John Denver!
I like that old time Rock n roll by bob seger! Oh and one nobody ever does. Jim Ed brown your a part of me
Thank you for reacting to great country songs such as this one. Another you might like is George Strait "Baby Blue"
My favorite King George song.
I recommend some Paul Overstreet. His song daddy’s come around is fantastic
miami, my Amy!
Check out his widow Lorrie Morgan doing a cover of this.
Another Kentucky boy, gone way too soon!
I really want to check out Aaron Watson July in Cheyenne true story about a bull rider
As the saying goes: Men, she is not the one, your just next!
Please listen to and older song. Luke Bryan .... "Do I" 💖💖
PLZ REACT TP TIL EACH TEAR BECOMES A ROSE
