i agree with you, a totally fun bike for happy everyday riding plus it puts you big smiles on your face on the twisties. About electronics, i don't complain (my first bike, started riding 2yrs now) i think yamaha thought this bike as an old school one where the rider needs to think what he's doing with the throttle/brakes. And i could not conceive any better way of learning the motorbikes world. this bike is a pure small jewel (got a my 2020 with upgraded forks + shock, put on racing brake tubes, exhaust + intake + tune)
@@SergeyVikultsev i forgot one thing to mention (again about electronics): instead of looking for riding aids from the bike.. people please do attend courses, invest on yourself instead on the bike electronics! i made a 3day one last year in Rijeka at Grobnik, it changed me like night and day
Great informative video Sergey 🤗 You have nailed it again! I personally haven't tried any of the CP2 platform, but is good to know the MT-07 is not good for taller people! I have tried the MT-09 and felt ok, but i was already familiar with the Tracer 9gt so no difference there about the engine but the rest of the bike is a complete different holigan 🤣
Owning brand new Tracer 7, I totally agree with you about phone connectivity being useless. It is just not possible to use the scroll wheel when riding. No idea who designed but for sure that person has not ridden a motorcycle even once :) Other that this I love the bike, especially how it corners and would choose it again and again over Tiger 660 that I was also testing and considering. Cheers!
Mt07 is my bike after owning various bikes, even those of around three times more power. 07 just has right amount of power for daily rides, it's amazingly agile and consumes low amount of gas. I am 1.82m tall and the bike is fine for me but someone taller might have an issue. Handlebar raisers can be added (I actually did and it increased comfort for touring).
I’m trying to decide between this or a CB650R. Doesn’t seem like Honda has a 2024 or newer 650R so I’m starting to lean towards the MT-07 unless I buy used.
man.....enought with the complanes about lack of electric gas.enough.....i dont need electronics...i dont like electronics....and if you are a new rider, go buy a small capasity bike.and then upgrade.not 700cc....so simple
@@thodoris3790 that’s true. That’s why I said that for me it is perfectly fine. But reading all the comments under my videos, this seem to be critical to many people.
@@SergeyVikultsev dude,i ve never own a bike with electronic gas,or traction control,or abs...i m still alive.now i m thinking to buy the new transalp, couse i want a new bike finally at my 43,and i m sceptical...i would buy the tenere which is a simple bike, but i wont do much off road.
MT-07 has been one of the most popular bikes in the US for a while. Which is interesting considering the stats. Up to 180 still can be comfortable bike to ride. Stunt riders won’t care much, as well as people buying it as a track day machine. Many female riders like this bike too.

@@alinwithther6 thanks Alin. You gotta try it :) It feels different compared to CP3 bikes.

@@szymonchalupka just like you said, riding experience over-shines all those flaws.

Try them both. No need to buy ‘24 MY. Maybe 22-23 can work as well.
This motorcycle is almost perfect for fun with experience riders, but if you want some occasional travel...go for Tracer 7

I understand what you are saying, but some people are opposite.
It's for people shorter than 175cm? Most guys in the US average 177cm. Must be for woman then?
