We are on a 2 week long road trip to Oregon. Mt. Hood is our first stop. We stayed at Camp Creek near the foothills of Mt. Hood. There is no electric or water hook-up. There is no potable water at the campground. This is not our first time dry camping so we have a lot of experience in this situation. However, there were still challenges with energy and water consumption because we have an extra adults. Nonetheless, the Basecamp made it comfortable for our family to enjoy cooking and other camping activities!

If you are sleeping in a tent, what is the point of the expensive Airstream?
The point of the side tent is to expand a small living space of the Basecamp if there is an extra person. In this case, we had a third person. I see plenty of people with RV set up tents for their party to camp. Thanks for watching.
@@SirCampalotOutdoors ah, okay. That makes sense. It looks like the awning tents used by people with SUVs or jeeps. Airstreams are really expensive but have little storage or room.. Your video helped me eliminate the airstream as a potential option. Everyone's circumstances are different.
