The McLaren was a monster. Very light with a killer big block. I've read accounts of driving one and when you dumped the throttle it was like pulling the pin on a hand grenade. You better have it pointed where you wanted it to go. Tamiya TS 56 is pretty close to the correct shade for McLaren. The tricky part of the build will be fabricating parts for the 1/20th scale. It's doable. Don't use 1/25th scale ignition wires or it will be a waste of time. Craft wire in the appropriate diameter is the only way to go. I resurrected a 1/20th scale Monogram Sizzler for a friend and had to do a lot of fabrication to make it right.

Those can am cars were super cool. I have that kit molded in gray that I’ll build sometime. I won’t be cutting the body apart. I’ll just have the whole thing lift off. I also have two of the accurate miniatures versions in 1/24 scale.
Badman is looking good. Next time you paint a yellow car I recommend trying pink primer under the yellow. Really makes the yellow pop nicely.

I have one 1/20 scale kit, MPC's 1970 AMC AMX two seater. I got it as I had owned a real 1968 AMX back in my youth. Great cars. Pretty good model too. MPC is like AMT, can be hit or miss, qualitywise. 😎👍

Very nice . The interior on your Bad Man looks great. MPC did several kits in 1:20 scale back in the 70's. Lindberg did several 1:20 scale kits in the 90's.
