With the probability of Big Al retiring and Kornet's contract expiring by the end of this season, Pritchard would probably be the first to go in a trade ideally for a big man. Hauser's contract becomes Al's contract (kudos to Brad and the accounting team) so they can keep him a bit longer given what he brings to the table and the way Mazzzulla ball is played. But if Sheierman and Watson pans out, Hauser and Tillman might just be traded down the line. It's too bad the Cs can no longer combine contracts, otherwise they could package KP and some other contracts to get Markkanen.
I think bottomline is:
1. Unless the celtics drop below the 2nd apron this year (by dumping springer AND PP for picks), this core has a 2Y clock.
2. after those 2Y, they will have to get rid of a bunch of contracts to get under the 2nd apron. This would either be KP or the combo of PP, springer, Al and Sam.
3. moving forward after that, Brad wont be paying any non-starter above the minimum for a 2-3Y to reset the 2nd apron penalties.
IMO the 1st player traded that could be this year is springer. Hes on an expiring contract, hasnt been offered an extension and is earning more than the vet min for a 12th man. Brad has his replacement in baylor, anton or walsh. its not like the 12th man plays regular rotation mins outside of injuries or garbage time.

you said Pritchard only scored the three pointer in the finals. In the blowout he scored 11. He hit the three a three in game 2.

Now way. He’s a decent bench guy but Hauser is better. McConnell ate his lunch in the ECFs and he was unplayable in the Finals.

Unfortunately I don’t see Sam houser being a Celtic for life due to his salary cap and I just think Baylor schiermab would be a great replacement!
Love Baylor but we’re gonna have to really see something good out of him quick if he’s gonna be a hauser replacement. Hauser is one of the best 3pt shooters in the league. Not against your idea of Baylor can show us something quick

Both would get traded if they want to get under the 2nd apron this year if they want to keep the starters and hauser together for 1 extra year.
If not this year, it'll be in 2Y as its not advisable to stay in the 2nd apron for more than 2Y. in 2Y They would either dump KP or dump the combo of springer, PP and hauser. Most likely they keep KP and get rid of the bench guys.
We shouldn’t overrate our guys. Hauser has improved a lot but is pretty one dimensional although he has gotten a lot better on D. He’s a marginal starter but good bench player to have.
It’s our top 6 that’s makes this team unique, particularly our backcourt. Two of the best and most well rounded role players in history to pair along with the Jays.

I get cringy when I see KP dunk and even just by him being on the court at times...... I really hope that he will be able to get stronger and toughen-up physically.

Winning in times of no money is better than money in times of no winning. Win a couple more championships and Celtics ownership goes from owning a team worth $5 billion to owning a team worth $8 or 9 billion. So why would they care about paying $300 million in luxury taxes? Even if they operated at a total loss, it's all tax deductible. That's just the business of building brand value.☘
Porzingis is made of glass. You can load manage him all you want but some dudes are just like that. You hope he’s healthy for the POs this time.

2) Hey I LOVE Sammy with the scope, but his price after next year is too expensive. The rookie Lefty seems to have been picked up to replace him.
3) KP....whew. That is a tough man to replace, but I've already had these thoughts. As Bill Belichick says, " the best ability is availability."

Honestly I see The J’s, KP, D-White//Jrue as franchise 5 and must retain them for as long as we can.. Plus I trust P-Rabbit shot more than {Springer} he will be the first to get traded
springer should be the 1st to be traded. No ifs or buts though that either kp or the combo of hauser, springer AND pp are all traded by 2Y from now.
