Yes Edward , or stretch the springs in the battery compartment on the controller to make them a bit longer , then they hold the battery better and will not cut out. I did this to my FMS handset as the batteries rattled .

If you follow the print for signal on ch3 and 4 you see that there is missing the SMD resistor 1kohm (102). without this resistance you get nothing out
I'm surprised they didn't share a ground for the rear lights, but I suppose you wouldn't have brake and reverse on at the same time. Indicator+, Reverse+, Brake+, Ground-
is there a way to retain the light function but disable the reciever part of this ? Im looking to update my reciever , however still use this board to run the lights . Thanks in advance

so i guess that's how they disabled it

Wire them directly in parallel with the headlights.
